Lets just hope i am able to use it correct, people are making it seem complicated to use but from everything ive been researching and the extremely short tutorial when i bought it it seems pretty easy, hope im not missing the complicated part. Anyone know how long to vacuum purge BHO? This batch i did for 72 hrs at 90° but after more reading i think that may have been to long, there isnt really any strait answers out there. The pick is when i first put it in, it is flat now. Ill try to remember a pic tomorrow
What! Looks like the coolest easy bake oven!!! Two big ole cookies. Lol. I didnt see the bottom when you first showed it, the top looks like a rocket science figi majigi. I say play with that and fine tune. But i guess that easier said then done.
So beautiful........ I could watch that bake all day. Never thought there was such a thing as too much purge? I generally run 24 hrs at 90F and get a nice clear shatter. If you want more of the honeycomb effect I'd go shorter purge and lower the temp towards the end. Haven't played around much with wax or honeycomb because I use my BHO for cooking and shatter is better for that.
I may mess around with making different styles later, right now im just sticking to shatter. I will use most of it for pills and lotion. I plan on decarboxilating half of it and mixing it and non decarbed for pills so they will have more benefit. I only found one thing online that said that vacuuming to long can take out terpenes witch i want to stay in.
Skunkpharm research is a treasure trove of useful data. But I still haven't found a reliable guide for temps/times/types and my own results have always had lots of uncontrolled variables. It says it has a heating system, is it a co2 extractor? Ive been told co2 is a crappy Sullivant. I use hot water to reclaim in my system and it is best to have a cold chamber for dry ice so it removes all the toxins. But compaired to an open blast that looks 100 x better.

You can even move the just emptyed tank to the freezer and connect it to the first to speed up the recovery...
