I have a new space to create, its 10x13, im going to panda plastic the ceiling and paint the rest white. 3800 is what I have for firepower with a 400hps/cmh if needed........but im wondering if its too much heat for the space??? The ballasts are going to be OUTSIDE of the growspace also Equipment: 1000 switchable 1000 switchable 600 digital hps 600 mag hps 600 mag hps 8inch vortex 6inch vortex w/ filter 6inch vortex w/filter 6inch OZONE generator 2bulb 1/2HP Chiller 3x3 ebb n flow table 30gal res 3x3 ebb n flow table 30gal res 2x4 ebb n flow table 25gal res (going to buy another 3x3 table) wall mounted oscillating fans (3-12inch) I made a new elec board with 4 (2 outlet) plug boxes run from 2 new 20AMP breakers, everything all new and tested.....also have the currently used 3 (2outlet) plugs running from a 20AMP and a 15 AMP breaker Im wondering if anyone has any advice or hints to advance the room from this point, I bought a new 8K BTU AC window unit i can use as well to keep things cool if need be Im going to have a 5x8 VEG room with a 4bulb T5 fixture and a 400MH running in there and a 400HPS/CMH is there if the need rises Thanks for any help GK

I have 3 of FUSIONS latest n greatest to TEST still, I have about 4-5 other strains in seed form still, a few killers, a few so so strains I do have a partner in crime that has Sugar Punch, Killing Fields, Herijuana and ShackZilla.......so I do intend on getting clones of ALL of them girls, I can have them anytime I want them but I want to get the FUSION testers goin cuz its my first priority and responsibility. But from this point on till then, its going to be mainly White Rhino and AK47 in the room.......I have plenty of Bubba,Dabney and Lemonberry in the woods

The electric company is in the business of making money. If you pay your bill and don't steal power, they could care less what you're doing. I keep a Saltwater Reef and other fish tanks as well and I used to keep a lot of reptiles and to be honest I could easily use 3K+ watts with a few large aquariums or a few large reptiles. Unless you're cranking 20K watts I wouldn't worry too much. asssit:
I use an 18.5K BTU window unit to cool a room similarly sized with 5k watts and I can keep temps as cool as I want.
the grows only about $200 a month....3-55" led-lcd TVs, surround systems, 2 huge fridges, deep freezer, hot tub, etc....etc....THAT shit is what costs money to run Pay ur bill and life is good, if you steal ,they come looking for where its going and find yer dumbass
Total re-do top to bottom side to side up n down here to there n anywhere ya hear?! I have another setup going elsewhere that is 12x12 with 4- 1ks running and that same AC and it never goes above 78, same 8inch fan and a 6inch sucking too, works like magic
200 a month for the grow is real cheap. If I run both of my 1kw's and all the fans and the scrubber it costs me a minimum of 200 a month on a 12/12 cycle, more if I run them 18/6, and that's in the winter with no ac. I've never run them in the summer but it would be at least a 500 to 600 dollar a month bill.
Are you on a tiered system for the electrical? Up here we get aprox 720 kw hours at one rate and when you go over that amount for the month the rate is almost double for every kw hour after that.
its a 5k, i have a 8k if i need it......i got great air movement so ill be good at around 80 i bet, probably more like high 70s, all ballasts will be OUT of the room and on a rack in another room, the VEG room will be vented to the outside, only heat is from the 5 bulbs (vert style) I can also put the 600s in vented hoods if need be, i still have them in the boxes
5K watts flowering plus the 18.5k BTU A/C and various fans, pumps and whatnot. Then I have 2400 watts veg room plus fans and pumps and whatnot there too. Overall my entire bill is around $1200 including my Aquariums and other household electrical usage. asssit:
