well, i'm trying a little thing i saw on here I believe first done by Nilzar... the vertical suspension program! i've got my 2 big ladies all tied to the celing (there were four, which is all my little 6x3x6 box can handle, but 2 died from root rot before i figured out what NOT to do...) but anyways... I have a low celing and some freed up horizontal space. my question is this... will hanging the plants lower (ie making them grow diagonally for the second half of flowering) stress them very much? they're in DWC buckets and the plant is not at all supported from the base, so it doesn't look like it will stress the stem towards the bottom if i do this... but i'd still like yall's imput.

    Thanks GK!

Post some pics so we can have a clear idea of what ur referring to...

Tying up your plants for support doesn't stress them, however if the plant is not required to build strenth in order to support itself the stems will get weak and most likely when the heavy buds are hangin on those tied up spots the stem will bend over where its tied. Not that it matters though. Anywhere a stem is damaged but not broken off will cause an inrush of energy from the plant and buds above the broken spot tend to be bigger and bettter.

    Happy Growin' :pimp:
