I've been growing hydro for a while but I had a good friend that would provide the clones. Well he moved out of state so I want to maintain a few mothers for myself.I prefer to put them in soil just in case if anything goes wrong I wont have to worry about anything malfunctioning.Plus I only need 30 - 35 clones every 70 days. Can some one recommend a good potting mix preferably with stuff I can buy at home dePOT and mix myself. Also a good organic fertilizer.I only need to veg them . My local shop carries the fox farm stuff. Hows that? Thanks - PEACE!
organic cultivation ya u can use supersoil 50% perlite 30% vermiculite 20% use alaskian fish ferts and maxi crop seaweed ucan get all this at home depot except maxi crop seaweed.thats all u will need to keeep momma happy
I use Pro-Mix from Home Depot enriched with worm castings and extra perlite. That's about as organic as it gets, and it's virtually all my plants will ever need.
Fox Farm Ocean Forest Potting Soil mixed with a little perlite is very good...you can usually go a while before useing liquid fertilizers. I've also used a light soil mix, Sunshine with Miracle grow potting soil and mixed in FF marine cuisine as an additive.
