Organic rooting hormone.

    If you take pencil-sized clippings from a pussy willow tree and boil them in water, the resulting tea makes an organic rooting hormone for free. Or you can soak the clippings in water for several days.
    I've never personally used it, but I've researched it and I can find several credible sources to support this. Not only does it contain rooting hormone, but it also has other beneficial nutrients for plants.
    Dipping your cuttings in this infusion before planting will help promote root growth.
