    SirStynkalot A Fat Sticky Bud

Strain: Permafrost - believe the genetics to be White Widow x Northern Lights

Hybrid ,F1,Black label, etc: not sure... got from clone

Statistics: 4 clones started, 2 survived, all female.

Growing Method: 4 DWC buckets under a 400w HPS, vegged 5 weeks under a t5 fixture

    Light Wattage: 400w HPS, 200w HO T5

    Avg Daytime Temp (F): 74

    Avg Nighttime Temp(F): 70

Avg Daytime Humidity: unknown, probably 40%ish

    Avg Nighttime Humidity: unknown, same

Finished Plant Height(ft.): ~48 inches, I suspended the plants from the celing and hung them at an angle when they got too tall

Avg Dry Weight(oz.): 1 per plant

    Potency Rating(/10): 9/10

Yield Rating: from me, average. from the guy I got it from, ~2.5 oz under a 400w with 4 wks veg in soil... so above average.

THC rating: very high (this strain is a white one)

Germination rating: grown from clone not seed, seeds of this strain are very hard to find.

Medium: DWC with FloraNova nutes only

Indica/Sativa Ratio: guessing about 50-50 from the stone

    Seed/Clone: clone

    # Weeks Flush: 3 days of water with weak flushing agent before harvest

    Parentage/Genetics: WW x NL

    Overall rating(/10): 9.5/10

History: this strain has been circulating around the medical patients in my community... it's a rarer strain in the pacific northwest that is well known on the street because it's always extremely high quality, has a unique smell (kind of sharp and sweet) and appearance (dusky white, with dark green leaves streaked with purple), and is rumored to come through one of the players at a major barter fair (meaning it always comes the same time of year). it's been the top of my wishlist for as long as I can remember.

Curing Method: glass Jars, 1 oz per jar.

    LIGHTING and Plant Information:
Number and Type of Lights Used in Veg: 1 4 bulb 4' T5 HO fixture
Number and Type of Lights Used in Flower: 1 400w HPS, and for the first 3 weeks 1 400w MH as well.

Nutrient Regime Information: this plant is very tolerant and easy to grow... I intentionally overfed it to see what it's resistance would be, and it doesn't burn easily at all. at the end of flowering I was putting 3 tsp/gal of flower nutes (max dose) and they were doing just fine.

Pest/Disease Information: don't let bugs in and you won't find out.

Comments on Medical Effectiveness/Symptoms Helped by usage: this does little to relieve generalized aches and pains, but it is an incredible sleeping aid, and also helps with anxiety and depression. it's definitely a very medical high, but it's not an all around one. this is going to stay in my stables for the rest of my life as it's the most effective insomnia meds i've found yet.

General Comments and Observations: this stuff looks great, yields well (but not fantastically), and is probably one of the best strains for what it does that i've used yet. it's an easy to grow, 8-9 week flowering strain, that grows very rapidly and continues stretching a good bit in flower. it grows IDEALLY for LSTing and topping, although its just fine on its own as well.

    Odour: sharp and sweet

Potency: very high, 9-9.5/10, its a real creeper and downer.

    THC levels: guessing 20%+

    Yield: avg-above avg

    FEMALE RATIO: 100% (clone)

    Grower Comments:
grow this if you can find it. it grows similarly to but is a little less picky than WW.

    SirStynkalot A Fat Sticky Bud

well, i'll have em coming soon. I'm getting a camera this weekend and moving next, so once I get my babies resettled i'll be starting on a new grow thread with this next round of them. I should be able to post pics of the dried bud though in the next week or so.

Did some research on your permafrost strain and heres what I found

From one source it is said to be a cross of Train Wreck and Northern Lights 18% THC

    another claims

the mother was trainwreck from Humboldt and Ice Princess from Southern Oregon Area

And of course the WW x NL

    Urban Dictionary definition (LOL!!)

    permafrost

hydroponic marijuana distributed among emo kids and sophomores at ike. n00bs think it is special and the best bud in the world, but is actually just normal dros, and given the name to make it sound special. kids who like permafrost normally smoke schwag or bc's and have never smoked real bud.

yo kermit pass me dat permafrost

Anyways sounds like a winner be sure to post up a grow log with lots of pictures.

i've also heard TW x NL, but I have a friend growing TW, WW, and permafrost (who i got the clones from) and it grows much closer to the widow... highly pronounced node angles would be the best way to describe it. the plant naturally bushes out, but if it's cropped at the bottom fairly early on it looks exactly like pictures i've seen of NL (growth-wise). and the bud's closer to WW than TW in stone and appearance as well.

grow log number 2 will be up in a week... currently have 4 perms in DWC buckets about 2-3 weeks rooted. I also have access to a WW grow (my caregiver) that I can also take pics of for comparison of growing characteristics--- a good final say on its genetics.
