I have a couple of jogged plants about 8 weeks into veg. They were doing fine til this week when one of them, the healthier of the two, started to loose its lush green color. Not so much in the old growth, but most of the younger leaves are pretty pale, almost yellow. Here's the garden info: Indoor,2 1/2 gal pots, soil/perlite/vermiculite mix.I vegged under floros for first 6 weeks while i was jogging them, then moved to 150 hps for the last 2 weeks. Temps are running a little high, 85deg f with light on, but I am only having problem with 1 plant. For ferts I am using Peter's 20/20/20 and superthrive as per package dosages. It has been 2 weeks since last fert. No problem with drainage and I use water that has a 7.0 ph and no chlorine, but my ph test strip goes off the color scale when I tested the soil 2 days after I watered. Whew my fingers are tired from all the typing. Only thing I dont know is the strain but I'm pretty sure it's mostly Indica. Can any body help me out here. I'm about to go to 12-12 but not If I have a problem I can't get straightened out. PLEASE HELP! (Edited by so x ited at 9:38 pm on June 28, 2003) (Edited by so x ited at 9:40 pm on June 28, 2003)
Thanks Ranger, but what do you mean PH adjusted. adjusted to what? The water I use to water has a neutral ph. 7.0 to 7.2. BTW I tried a foliar feeding twice yesterday and it looks a little greener today, but not much.
lower leaves are yellow? are they limp too? Try ferting with something with a fair amount of N... as that sound to me like a N deficency. Especially considering the plants use alot of N in their 2 week stretch
I'm so confused. I went ahead and flushed it today. I'll give it 2-3 days , see if it perks up with a twice daily foliar feeding of 20-20-20. If that works then I'll fert and watch closely for any good signs for 2-3 days.
im no expert but i heard if u add calcium it is supose to lower the ph im not sure so u will have to ask someone that knows what they are doing
