Preferred super cropping method for flowering plants?

I was going to go with breaking, but didn't know if it was alright to do while in flowering.

I was also going to consider zip/twisty tying down the top, and the top branches to allow the lower ones to catch up.

I'm doing this because I have 4 clones that are now 14.5-17" tall, and only been flowering 3 days, and I didn't LST them.

    Anyone here prefer topping?

doing that in flower is going to slow them down and a possible stress issue, so be prepared for that but it can be done my friend....the 2 I did it to are atleast 2weeks behind the rest of the same plants, cause I crunched the stalks at 2wks flower....good luck tho

SUpercropping is meant mostly for Veg, as the plant will stop concentrating on flowering and start concentrating on mending itself. Like chris said though...CAN BE DONE.

Supercropping is a great technique to use right before flowering. It will thicken up the branches, allowing your plants to produce fatter buds.

It would be alright to tie down also, but I wouldn't top during flowering. Its alright to cut off the sucker branches towards the bottom, that wont produce. This will allow more energy to be directed to the tops where you will get the best production!

    GOod luck

    3 day of flower?

I'd pinch the stems for the next 2.5 wks. Pinching is my primary height/stretch control tactic. I def do it till the plant has shifted it's focus to bud formation.

Tying is always safe in my view.

P.S. I was told not to do it in flower too something about stress...pretty sure it was sombud that set me straight. Not saying chris didn't see what he says he did...no offense man.

Unless you really have to; otherwise leave them alone.

I have pinched a week or two into flowering without any problems.. If you see the plant taking a while to mend itself, its best to discontinue the cropping..

After the second week of flowering I wouldn't recommend it, but it's a good Idea to get the supercropping in the first week of flowering.

This is my advice, from experience, and from past literature.

Thanks, I pinched the top branches on all 4. As well as trimmed the b.s. stems near the bottom. I will not pinch again. I have also used twisty ties to tie the top over. I will probably undo it in 3 weeks.

I also went ahead and pinched my vegging Rx sprouts on the main stalk, as well as tied the top to the main stalk with twisty ties. Hoping for more side stem development so that I can take more clones.
