so i've been growing master kush for a while. a friend of mine gave me a lemon skunk seed he found in a g that he bought. it turned out to be a male so i thought i would grow it to harvest the pollin to cross it with the m.k.. i screwed up with that because i left it in the flower room till the clusters started to open and i pulled it out and set it outside. a few days later there was some cream colored powder sprinkled on a couple of the leafs so i cut off all the balls and put em in a baggie thinking they would open up in there but they didn't. i had a plant that was a clone in its 5th week of flower from a 3rd week flowering plant that was by the male. i just harvested that little plant and it had seeds. i was happy about that, but then i got to thinkin what if the stress of cloning a flower turned it into a hermi. i didn't notice any hermi signs during flower but it was kind of a side show type of thing to see what would happen. so hopefully i got seeds from a lemon skunk male crossed with a master kush female after all. i got another plant to harvest next week i have not checked it for seeds yet i just discoverd this last night.
Dude lemon Skunk is my Favorite Bud of all time. So fking lemony and crystals!! omg..:mashed: Good shit on mixing your favorite strain with the lemon. Should be awesome smoke if you end up growing the seeds. :thumbs-up:
Hell yeah, man! That's the next thing I was gonna get into; cross-breeding different strains and then on to colloidal silver generators and the feminizing process! Damn! I just started DWC! You're beating me damn'it! :roffl: I feel like the Russians during the Cold War! I just can't keep pace without spending myself into massive debt! :roffl:
Yeah I'm pretty excited. I don't see see how it couldn't good. I'll have to pick and choose the best ones to cross again and so on. I have really enjoyed this M.K. It takes about three or four hits every 2 or 3 hours to maintain a good high but it's all I have been smokin. So i'm ready for something different. Whats a good strain for "daytime" smokin? I'm gonna grow some trainwreck for my wife so she can take a hit or two when gets anxiety attacks. She don't smoke but she don't want to take zanex.
So I got 4 out of 10 of these seeds sprouted and in thier 4th week of veg. I made some clones last wednesday, so they will be going into flower as soon as i see roots on the clones. The 4 plants ranged from 1 small about 4" and stepped up to about 8 inches. They are all pretty stocky, thick main stems and broad deep green leafs. The internodes are pretty close about an inch apart. They seem to be doing really good. By the way the other plant that was in there had seeds too, these are the seeds I am growing.
