sprouting?

    my seeds just sprouted. so i was planning to put them in the grow medium and under my flouros, is this okay?

    I may be wrong, but it seems to me that if the seeds sprouted, then the plant will grow. Stick'em in the ground, root down, put them under the light, and take care!!

    the reason i was asking is because i heard that you are not supposed to put the plant under light until the plant emerges from the soil. but i am not completely sure. someone please respond before it is to late

    I've heard that you're suppose to germinate under complete darkness, but when I germinate, I soak the seeds in paper towels until they pop open and I let the root grow to aroun 3-5 mm, then I poke a whole in my growing medium with a phllips head screwdriver and drop the seed in and bury it. I then cover it with a cd case or something to keep it moist while I'm not at home and when the sprout pokes through the surface, I remove the cd case and put it under light immediatley and it's good to go.
