Hell yea that would be pretty cool. Honestly the first thing I thought about was the GMO simpsons episode when they make the tomacco, the nicotine tomatoes.
Someone did try making tomacco but the dumbass only grafted a tomatoe plant to a tobacco plants root system and thought it would absorb nicotine. Idiot didn't realize the plant have mechanisms for producing such. Guy even made claims on the news that he did it although when they went and tested it the tomatoe contained no nicotine.

This science is very real. I've been reading about it for years and it appears they are finally starting to produce results. Almost anything can be achieved through genetic engineering. Genetics and the brain are the finale frontiers IMO.
