Hey, the plants are 8 weeks old 4 flower, 6ft tall with the 5 gallon buckets. How much taller might these suckers grow... should i tie them down. A bit each day??? Thanks
no pictures shame on ya... If you are running out of light room you have to do something. They can't be getting much light in the lower areas.
6ft plants at 8 weeks old?? sounds like something is wrong.... unless you are outdoors, no way possible they are getting proper lighting. 4 weeks of flower....they should have already stopped getting any taller
I'm wondering if that SolarMax1 should be distanced like a 600 watt HPS and ignore the 400 in considering the distance. Yes It requires a 1000 watt ballast and the rated lumen's are a little less then a Hortilux eye if my memory is right. But, how do they get the lumen? adding them up? It is two spectrum more than a bigger bulb IMO. In terms of lumen output I think the SolarMax1 provides a better spectrum but light chart lumen distance is the 600? Anyone see my point. If Dursky is seeing that much growth I figure the feeding is high and so is the light. I've been pondering twin SolarMax1's in a cool tube type light setup. If this experience is true then no mater what, observe a slightly high position for a 600 watt bulb. I am open to debate here. and again Dursky you DaMan I'd love pictures. That bulb is a lot to spend and 2 are twice as much... Help a guy out.
Hey Randy When i started my 1st indoor grow (many outdoors) i read and read. Got good seeds, soil nuts, light. I have added asprin every watering from germ. Co2 from a kerosene lamp (works unreal) and the solarmax1. They are 5ft-6 with 5 gallon pale. 4 weeks into budding they look great. I have blueberry and white shark.. same hieght.. I can raise the lamp another 6 inches... am thinking of cutting the top off for room. There are buds all over and closing together on the tops.. nice thick buds. I have no camera and if i had the money i would get a filter... will see if i can borrow one..... How much more smelly might these sluts get???? Dursky.... watchen golf.
Yeah what you are describing is out of the Norm for what we expect, If I may be so bold as to speak for the fellas in the thread. On the serious side I'd like to know cuz it's going to be $400 for two light bulbs and I haven't seen any grower data on it. My other option is twin 250 watt MH as side light for when they kick into flower one on each side of the current hood.
cutting the top off the plant????? noooooooo...... tie them over....just loop a string near the top where the plant is still sturdy and bend that girl over
