When I topped my plant, I also cut the 2 upper leaves that was feeding it since they was preventing the light to the lower branches, is this a mistake?

    Thank you for you advice

The lower leaves/branches are growing fast while the top is suffering since I took away thier 2 leaves!

This may allow the lower ones to catch up with the top !

    [DID I SAY THAT ALREADY?]

If you remove too many fan leaves the plant cannot

photosynthesize properly and may die, but if you are still seeing new growth I'd say your plant will be OK.

The key to good cultivation is not doing too much too fast or too little too slowly. Moderation in moderation.

After you add stress to a plant (topping/transplanting/LST/photo period sways) it takes time for the organism to adapt. Too much at once kills them.

should recover, and come back stronger. I prefer to just take the smallest growing shoot from the top!!
