Heard multiple methods. I'm going for a long veg time this time around, and am going for something similar I had with my AK-48. Many of them only had ~8 branches, all looking like tops. All but one were topped, at first all I did was pinch the main stalk. As shoots got long enough, I pinched them. Shortly after I pinched the tops off kinda on accident. So It was then topped. After that I'd pinch the most heafty branches. I used some of the others for clones, then flowered. If you pinch the main stem more, and more frequently, will that work in letting the plant's branches catch up? I've also once tried tying the top down to it's own stalk with a twist/zip tie, and leaving it like that for certain amount of time. Also, I just watched a video or two. I couldn't tell if the plants were topped on all the videos, but they were pinching the lower branches, then bending it over, to creat their bushes. Without tying, or using a screen, I'd like to get as close as I can to all the buds being the same distance from the light source. How would YOU proceed? Note: With what I've read about the white rhino, it grows in small bush anyway, I might just try to growing a single cola on those babies. Who knows.
On any of the White Rhino I have grown they had multipe branches & buds & I always pinched the top branch so the bottom ones could catch up-Bud
I just finished my 1st WR grow. I tortured the shit outta them and it loved it. I topped, pinched, bent, and tied down practically everything. It was actually a lot of work but I was rewarded in the end. I topped the main shoot, tied it down, more shoots grow from the main shoot, I top them, tie them over, etc. I had, at one point, 60 bud sites on 4 plants in a 2'x3' cab. I ended up with almost 50 once I thinned out the smaller sites. I got just under 10z's total under 400 watts because of all the torture. My canopy just before I threw it into 12/12 @ 6wks veg. This is Flatop You can see the bud sites here Don't be shy about tieing these bitches up, they can handle it and will ultimately reward you.
