A little bubble bag hash:anibong: I had nothing better to do yesterday since I have nothing growing and I'm waiting on my soil delivery so what the hell, I figured I'd make some hash. I was gonna wait till after my next grow to do some bubble bag hash but boredom got the better part of me. The bags are an e-bay special and are ok. I didn't weigh the trim but it was no more than 2z's dried, probably less, it fill a 1/2 gal. coffee jar. I think I have the technique down so I'll keep better track of weights next go. I know someone else posted this link before (I think Rocky) but it was worth the read as it was very informative. My first bubble run didn't work but after I followed the instructions in the link http://www.bubblebag.com/instructions/bubblebag_detailed.php all my problems and mistakes were solved. I think a 73m bag would be a great addition to the bags I have now but I don't know if they are sold individually, I'll have to check. 110m bag, not sure if it's worth keeping 45m bag The 20m bag..looks clean at least The worst mistake I found out I was making after reading through the instructions was not giving it time to settle after I agitated. The wait makes all the difference in the world. Wanted to add that I only did 1 run on the trim, wasn't much trim to bother doing another run. asssit:
Yea I hope so T6, I never really smoke much hash. It used to come around on occasion back in the old days but was so much $$$. I do remember that old classic hash tasting hit that expanded in your lungs and made you choke if ya held it in long enough. That's what I'm lookin for. That's looks real nice Mr.A :not-worthy: :droooling: , I have that same mixer attachment for my cordless. I didn't get near as much, maybe 3-4g. Them bubbles are just too cool looking. When I got the froth in my batch I knew I was doing something right cuz I didn't get much froth my first time at it.
tick tock im' drooling alreadry i got to wait till this next run the last bach as off 2 30 gallon totes packed full of the out door trimmings.we got about 50lbs of bud 20 of airy stiff for the bags and the leaf went to iso with the leftovers from the bags most of the smoke was ok but i'd say we lost 25% of the bud due to mold good old river bottoms if we were 500 foot higher or if the fog woulda held off three more weeks they woulda been cool . i dont think they woldamade it that long the guy that planted put one pach in the middle of that 6 foot grass that turns yellow mid august 'so there 10 ft above and 20 off the river was 8 pitbulls 6 to 8 ft tall come arround the bent and as you go down the strait away the boat was lined up on them for 1\4 mile and no one saw them not even the sheriff's boat checkin our fishing liscense and life jackets . i could literaly look over his shoulder and see them on the other bank less than 50 foot behind him.i was so awsome that i wish i coulda got it on film i'm still trippen . oh well the life of an outlaw:roffl::roffl::roffl::roffl::roffl::roffl::roffl::roffl::roffl::roffl::roffl:
Back in the day, hash was usually/mostly only around during the Holidays. Good, but nothing more than 'on occassion'. This is just as good. I even threw some bud in. Since getting the bags, I don't smoke much of my weed. I was making it with alcohol, but it's a gooey mess. I deleted the 10 micron this time. Big waste of time for what you collect. I can smoke alot of weed and still function (professionally, even), but I don't hit any of this while I may have to go out. Exception being if I'm oncall overnight. Nobody's awake enough at 3am (hospital, nursing home) to notice. Most ppl get out of your way, let you do your job, and say goodnight. Nobody notices if you're alittle 'slow'. This hash makes me 'slow' I basically save it for later at night I just smoked some. I'm munching and taking a nap :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up:
IMO, I'd say letting it settle isn't a great idea anyways. The more it sits, the more green color in your product (I've made a shit load of bubble hash batches and tried both ways), due to all the chlorophyl settling. I'm pretty sure that the yield is no different. Your product looks amazing. I've only made a blond batch like that once before.
the 3rd pic looks like a glob of brain matter. Cool. I've never smoked hash, never had the opportunity.
The best is homemade, just to insure that it isn't "cut" with anything. Bubble bags are a good investment if you come across a bunch of trimmings once in a while.
The third pic. is way too wet to look like any portion of the brain. It's more like jello. It looks more like feces in the upper most portion of the small bowel, with a serious metabolic condition. If your shit looks like sand, you'd best see your Dr.!
I think we're not talking about the same picture. Maybe mine didn't load all the way. The one I'm talking about look whitish/blondish mushy and kinda like a softy gooey piece of brain, maybe after being stepped on or beggining to rot. Not straight outta the cranium, no, but.. like something's wrong with it?
