What is this bug

    Does anyone know what the black bug with the red head is? This little bastard devastated my peach tree last year and is back again and on my cherry tree this time.

    I know it's a beetle, maybe a "love bug" (false stink beetle) or a stink beetle? I really need to get this fucker under control this year.
