Outdoor 2018

Candyland clones, sherbert, dabney and gelato mother's, clones soon. I've started hardening everything off as of yesterday. Planning on June 1 planting, or thereabouts. I still have a crap load of soil prep to do.

I had some serious root issues with the mother's I tried planting. Turned out that they were so root bound that the majority of the roots were dead. I pulled this one and put it in a nursery pot with mg soil to see if i can save it.

 

Looks like some of those cages have seen better days.

 

Waste not want not. They're about 7/8 to.

 

I agree with you totally. You should see the stuff I have salvaged around here. I have my own hardware store of sorts. When you live 20 miles from the nearest hardware store....you need to have stuff on hand.

This is one of the classic traits of candyland, as the night temperatures start dipping into the 50's... The fans start purpleing up and she starts packing on the resin. About three more weeks and it will be harvest time. My only regret this year was trying something new with my soil, this entire garden will only yield about a pound, maybe 1 and 1/2 if I'm lucky (6 plants total). Back to super soil mix next year.
