Anyone here like to gamble? I have been gambling for many years, never big but usually always come out ahead. If I go to Tampa I stay at the hard rock and hit the casino at night. Anyways, I decided to get into craps professionally, I am not doing much else and I can make $40-80 average, sometimes more...a hr just playing $5-$10 bets on numbers. Well, I found out a family member in another state is a high roller in craps and I wanted to try it out, only thing is instead of a starting bank roll of $300 that I always start with, it's about $4,000-$6000 my family member plays with, (not huge high roller but high to me)...as we played he was down $5,000 then turned around and won $30,000, a profit of $25,000. It was crazy. I still cant get my self to even think of a big bank roll like that, luckly I never have lost money playing craps but then again I am not betting $100 on one roll prop bets. The prop bets pay a lot but you can loose alot fast...real fast. So I am curious if anyone here plays craps and what strategy you use. There are alot of strategies
craps payed for my entire wedding and a week of partying I'll never forget. got comped a suite of course because they want you to give it all back. I did, but it was sure fun.
Did you play a certain strategy, like the iron cross or 3 point molly? I like the iron cross but get caught up playing 4-10 and buying the those non point numbers. But the hard way bets I like to play also. Take a 10 buck bet on those, hit for $100 and press the bet and get that $1000 before the 7 hits or the easy way.... It's a thrill for sure.
I started with a grand and ran that up to $6500 just playing, I had the dice for about an hour then I got that "feeling" but instead of walking I played the horn, which is a total suckers bet, and put 1k each on 2, 3, 11 and 1500 on the 12. I hit that fucking 12 at 30 to 1 odds.
Well it's about a $60,000 a month job for my family member. Its growing bigger. I may start traveling to hang out and see how this pit boss bets.
