Last two weeks of flowering is were you get the most bud growth. The plant achieves this by using up its stores (in the fan leaves). You really wanted them fan leaves to supply addition stored nutes to the buds. Live and learn!
another helpful hint if you have bud sites that are not developing well enough your better off eliminating them before the fan leaves it will increase energy to the larger bud sites and increase over all yield.....its the fan leaves that make big buds and the last couple weeks is the most important. You are supposed to flush with just water for the last week or two and the plant consumes the nutrient that is contained in the fan leaves now that you have no fan leaves you will have to feed longer and your smoke isn't going to be as nice as it would have been with a nice long flush.

Its actually supposed to work if you mess with the zoom I can't remember if you put it all the way out or in but I remember seeing about this. I figured it would just demagnify the shit out of it. If I can ever find mine I'll take a look because I had always been skeptical. Seen people say it works but never any pics. Oh and don't feed any more, they don't need it just keep giving them water til you cut them. Also, of course the buds seem to be accelerating there approaching the end that's just what they do, however I strongly believe you would have ended up with more weight in the end because they would have swelled that much more.

Depends mostly on you and how you like your smoke. I personally would def let it go until at least a few start turning amber, but again up to you. Looks nice btw:thumbsup: Give them at least another week the smoke will be more potent and she'll pack on some weight.
i've got something like 8-12 main colas per plant... all similar size... good thing is they're hard and packed... i was so concerned about the trichs that i forgot to take some pictures of the plants themselves... next time i go there to water i'll post an update... I stopped giving them nutes.. the last 2-3 waterings were plain water... I think i'll water them a couple of times more and then let them in dark for a couple of days to ice up... then chop chop... i think cutting off the fan leaves and some suckers every now and then stunned the whole grow for a week... good thing is that buds look heavy and compact now... i'm day 61 on 12/12 and the strains are white widow and california orange skunk... the package of the seeds was saying something like 8 weeks flowering... well there it goes I'm in for a full 10 weeks flowering... still got so much things to do with my life that it comes handy to wait a little more... can't get stoned as much as i want now so better wait for the deep summer... i'm expecting to harvest anything from 250grams to 400.... for second grow and a 400w hps this looks like it's gonna worth the effort and the expenses.
Well good luck with your goals, not trying to rain on your parade but I'll be surprised if you get over 250g once it is fully dried and cured. Sounds like you aren't aware of how much weight you will be losing. You will still have a decent amount to smoke on but I think your eyes have fooled you a little bit. Just 9-14oz is a big harvest, I can honestly say I have never seen someone harvest that much on their first grow with a 400W.
well... i try to be optimistic .. whatever i'm left with after drying still will be 10 times better and cheaper than the shitty grass you get here for 15euro per gram.

For real it looks good and looks like a great first harvest just didn't want ya to be two disappointed if it cuts shy of your mark. Hope you give a smoke report when its all said and done.
