Well my babies are in a kind of stasis while I figure the lighting and grow set up out.  I have to go flor for now, maybe by the time flowering comes around I can add a HPS.  I searched and read about lights and saw conflicting reports about the compact/spiral fluorescents.  Does anyone know if they worked out?  I have a bunch of those on hand and I could get it going; otherwise I'll have to go get shoplights and rig it up.

Does anyone have a pic of their flor set-up?

    TIA,

"rad girl" i used compact flos all the way and am haveing good results, i have a hps but my roof on my grow box is not stable enough for this grow, not untill next season..i have 2 girls in a 2*3*4 "GB" with 22,000 lumen's of red-spectrum....and right now at day41 of flw i'd say in dry weight i have about 1-1/2oz's right now......and still another 15-20 day's ta go.....so "YES" cfl's will work better i think than tube-type:biggrin:!!!.."Bud 3"

As I understand it. you can pack more cfl's into a given space than 'tubes', thus more lumens per sq/ft.

One thing to watch with CFLs is that they get much hotter than tubes, so keep them a little higher off your plants. Other than that, they work very well.
