Well Ive got this fresh cut shake, mabey a 1 gallon size bag of it. Ive been asked to make some toxic brownies for a christmas party. I was told to take the shake and simmer it in butter until the butter turns green, strain out the shake, cool the butter and use it in the brownies but I dont really know if thats right. Also i dont know if the shake is suppose to be dried or fresh. Anyone got a good recipe or clues how to make some primo brownies? Party on Monday
i dunno bowt cooking but my friends and i used to buy them lil boxes of kiddie-cake mixes...ded simple stuff, with lil pics of cartoon characters on paper u can eat...crumble some hash into the mix, bake em up...wa-laa! ENJOY!
That sounds about right with the butter. If this is your first time cooking with pot be careful, you can get extremely high and it will hit you like a ton of bricks and might not be able to function/handle it. At least that is what happened to me.
The shake should be dried first. You can do a quick dry by spreading it out on a cookie sheet in a barely warm oven and leaving it there for a couple of hours. Use about an ounce (dry) if it's only leaves, or 1/2 oz. if it contains a lot of bud pieces and kief, and one stick of butter per pan of brownies. I made my brownies a little on the weak side since they were for the office party and I didn't want to get into trouble for being stoned at work or getting anyone else that way. Where I work, I'd get fired for that. They could eat one at work and still function. The ppl who wanted to get really high took 2 or 3 brownies and waited till quitting time to eat them. They sure were great! None left now, of course.
Adding ganja directly to products--nasty taste. Even making happy butter can impart an unpleasent taste. Here my way: Dry the ganja slowly. Soak it in water overnight (it won't affect potency) Drain and re- dry. Then, simmer it in just enough butter to cover it. After 30--40 minutes on a LOW simmer (not boiling), cool and then when still liquid strain it through an old t-shirt into another container (like a matgerine tub). Wring the t-shirt throughly to get all the happy butter out. Refrigerate leftovers. It wil keep for a month in a fridge. -To remover all the unpleasent 'green' (chlorophyll) taste, you might want to do the water soak thing twice. -Just about any cotton cloth works for straining. A g/f of mine made some straining it through her panties. IMPORTANT: Like elcajon said, test a small amout of the finished product first. I've seen people unable to walk/talk after over-indulging.
Thank you all very much. Im going to give this a try over the weekend. Im not sure I have enough shake once its dry but im gonna give it a try anyways. Whats the worst that can happen?
Thought Id give the brownies a taste test this morning before I have smoked anything or had my coffee fix. 10am- 1/2 brownie 10:30---not feeling anything... 10:50..another 1/2 brownie 11:20....still nothing 11:35....another brownie with a cup of milk 11:50...still nothing and Im rollin a fattie
Sativa... The first time I had ever made brownies... They were weedy. I didn't mind it at all. Pot tastes excellent in well pretty much anything. Umm. But when I first ate them I had 2 huge ass brownies. Everyone caught before me... and I was like WTF... So ran back into the trailor (this was out at camp) And grabbed 2 more... That def. sent me on my way. LOL Enjoy. Lilly
I made some a long time ago using the cannabutter recipie, I don't have the exact one but I'll find you one...Well, actually it's a little too late I guess, but for future reference: Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil, then put a small amount of butter in the water. The butter melts, and mixes in with the water. Then put the grass or stash in and boil it. Now all the grass will be riling around with the water and the butter. The THC dissolves into the butter. Stir the stuff regularly. After half an hour of cooking the grass, strain out the grass and stash and squeeze all the juice out of it, and put the liquid in the fridge. A few hours later, the mixture is cold enough so that the cannabutter has solidified to the surface. It will look kind of scummy, but it's just enchanted butter. Scoop it out and retain it in a bowl or a jar. The cannabutter can be used just like butter, in brownies or cake. This is pretty much what I did but I used a crockpot.
