Anybody know?...I think they've been putting something in the lighters?..lol Seriously the last 3 glass pipes i got have been leaking shitty tasting liquid onto my lips and if your take a resin hit to clear out the hole the resin tastes especially nasty and crackles...It can't be the weed, it's always different. I usually use Bic lighters, once in awhile a cheapo but they break in like a minute. Now when this first started happening like 2 months ago i thought maybe some ******* slobered in the pipe or something cause it runs like water so i boiled it. But the same thing happened so i thought it was just maybe how the pipe was made. I got another pipe and the same thing happened, this time i was the only 1 to smoke out of it and i know it's not me. So i started cleaning out the long part with a tissue after every session. Now i just got another pipe and the same thing is happening...I'm almost complety convinced they started adding something to lighters. It fuckin sucks havein to swipe your pipe out after so many uses cause i keep forgeting and get a mouthful of the ****. My freinds bowls don't leak this stuff but they arn't new and probably haven't ever been boiled, just scraped so i think that the bowls are new got something to do with it.
when the suns out break out yer magnifier and roast it. that way you'll get solar baked and know whats up with your piezo. i personally hate bics, as they change the taste of my hit to nasty. i spark my bowl and then let it off. people who sit and hold the lighter on their hit the whole rip makes me want to
please dont boil bowls, it weakens the glass. USE 420 PIPE AND BONG CLEANER! look in hightimes mag or go to your local head shop. Use that and the fuzzy sticks that are like a fuzzy twist tie. Dont smoke dirt weed either... it all taste nasty AND different everytime.
i prefer to use matches whenever i can. I no longer use screens on my bowlz neither. I hear butane is bad fer da lungz.
I smoke outta a glass piece with a carb on it, about 2 inches long. I always use lighters to spark it up, and i dont get anything like what ur talking about man. It isnt a new bowl or anything, but i always clean it after usually 2 days of use with isopropyl alcohol. I just soak it, and clean it out with Q-tips, good as new.
Just a suggestion, try firing your bud with matches and see if you get the same result. I've never had a lighter cause a problem like you describe, so try using the matches, and if it's still happening, you can rule out the lighter.
I started useing 1 of those torch lighters and i haven't had the problem since. I wouldn't want to use matches because if you look at a match you can see where they soak some kind of fuel into it so it catches better. plus the taste and smell of sulfer would be worse. I think it may well have been the bud even though it was from a couple different sources...someone could have wheighted it with water or it could have not been completly dry.
when the inside of the glass is so much hotter than the outside, condensation begins to form in the glass.
growitup, i'm serious about trying the maginifing glass. when its sunny out its the only thing i use to burn my ganja. nothing better holmes
