you don't know what the **** you are talking about. i changed it so mods could not see people's ip addresses a long time ago, shortly after i created other mods and realized they could get the ip addresses. we've had mods on here for less than a year.

i once made a mistake gave out an ip address in an email to a mod and it made it onto the board. i haven't made that mistake since.

you are correct that other people have access to the information but it would require a warrant for anyone to gain access to it. if people are really afraid they need to take steps to protect themselves. i am more worried about the mods getting people's info than someone with a warrant. CG reiterated that belief with the whole CobraII thing.

i guess u were posting  while i was writing webby..and yes i am right about that mods had accessto view IP's which tell people WHERE YOU LIVE AND WHICH DIAL UP/CABLE/DSL/FREE ISP YOU ARE USING and if they really want to find you they contact your provider and request for your log, ANDYES THEY MIGHT NEED A WARRANT BUT YOU WONT KNOW THEY ARE CHECKING YOUR SITE OR ISP.. lol you think that their going to email you or call you webby? lmao! you wouldnt even be notified and i know this by personal experience..i created a website of all the girls i met from this phone chat line and it got so big aand i started posting all the naked pics i had of all the girls ive met and at that time i was 18 so the chics i met were from 15-19 and most of the naked or thong pics i had were females under age..so to make a long story short they took down my site like 4 times without even telling me ****..its not even up to your host...and this site is hosted by a comp in Colorado and ran by webby in California and i think 95% of all the people on here with their picture galeries are in states where it is Illegal (i think CA started to make permits to grow weed for medical sales or something like that) but its still illegal, mean while you guys have pictures of your rooms and basements letting them know where you grow your weed and where you live through your IP's and galleries are used for proof.. lol kust thought i should let people know why i think LOGS of ip's and picture galleries is not a good idea specially when ur taking pics of illegal stuff and posting it up along with your own IP..im just letting you know, if i was a cop that had to crack down and search for internet weed growers I WOULD LOVE THIS SITE it will make it so easy for me to find people and the proof to show the judge to get the warrants.. that was the reason why i took down my pics and changed my s/n... but hey i dont want to alarm people! lmao!

i deleted it. it contained phone numbers for the hosting company that didnt need to be broadcast on the site.


the logs for the main site where the pictures are posted (separate server from this one) are deleted every night.


but again yes people should be careful and be aware of what they can open themselves up to and use a program like anonymizer.

 

ight well im going to i know people dont wana hear stuff like this.. its cool that u say that u delete logs.. but that dont do anything lol.. you have hundreds of peoples post's which have their ip addresses right next to each post so i have no clue what logs your deleting.. you need to take off that IP recorder in your scripts.. you can always modify the scripts..so look into that and take off the IP's from your site.. and make sure people dont give out Emails.. even hotmail keeps logs of your IP.. so unless ur using someone elses computer and ur using a free isp or free mail THAT DONT MEAN SHIET...just wanted to let you guys know.


btw webby i wont post the servers info no more.. but if i can get it everyone can.. and thats not even hacking that was just checking who owned the server.. i just wish someone would put agrow and herbsparky in their places or take away their mod access.. cause their fucking dick heads...


when i first came into the site i thought cg owned it or was like the main mod/admin holder.. anyways cg was a good choice for mod/admin but why agrow? or herb?.. did they help you start it so u had to?.. cause agrow is still a newbie like my self so it cant be his growing skills...anyways i think cg and knifes should be the main ones with the mods.. btw you think agrow would act like a little kid and make new s/n and talk **** if he didnt have the mod?...nooooo!!!!
