Was curious to know if any of you are doing, have done or are about to grow in an apartment? wanted information on your experience is it safe? etc... I have this friend who has a white shelf stealth style cabinet, 50cfm exhaust fan three 20w floro on bottom 150WHPS on top half, wanted to put in closet next music computer, feed back please. thanks
done plenty of apartment grows. they are obviously not as good as owned house grows but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. if you are careful and safe you can generally get away with it. also make sure the apartment has a 24 warning policy before coming in. take a look at "Pete's" garden in the original growkind gardens. this was an apartment that was rented just to grow (no one lived there). over the 2 year period where this was a grow house there were two occasions where things had to be wrapped up and shipped out quickly. this was a major operation but it was still pulled off. i dont have to tell you that there weren't loud parties over there and people in and out all the time or girlfriend fights etc. just make sure you have a good handle on the location and situation and always know the laws in your state. plenty o' dank has been grown in apartments.
You think apartments take some planning, try a dorm room, after my first yeild in here, I plan on writing a piece entitled "Ghetto Growing." It's mad how rigged my setup is, but it's apperntly working!
Lion, I thought most dorm grows start out accidently. It's been some time since I've lived that lifestyle, but back in the day most would dump their seeds in your typical houseplant or potted tree and bingo.. a couple seeds would take off. Sheer fascination with "Wow, I grew a pot plant" takes over and it gets hard to kill what you accidently created. GGG
No, I have been planning this grow for almost a year (I am a sophomore, and me and my roommate decided to do this last year, but it would have been VERY hard to do in our last dorm, this one is more like an apartment, we only live with 4 other people, 2 per room)! These seeds were planted for one porpose in mind: yeild, smoke, smile.
I will be growing in my apt. Its only a 2 bedroom 880sqft place but it will do. I have been told of other little grow ops in the complex.. And one time I was walking home one night and saw some suspecious light coming from a room. Thats what inspired me. Good luck to me!
I had to quit my hobbie for awhile because we moved to an apartment complex.They had an exterminator come in once a month....don't think i could have hid them that good.Some landlords are sneaky bastards and have a habit of stopping by when you're not home.
wouldn't that be illegal if your landlord was snooping in your apt while your off at work or where ever, and he found your garden? Especially if this small op is in a white cab with a lock on the front.
