A partner asked me how I was making out in this drought. I asked what drought, almost forgot, here in Bama every election year the political assholes ban with the Law and proceed to make SEVERAL large busts and really put a hurt on the area smoke. Hell the DEA even puts up Billboards simply stating " IF YOU THINK ITS DRY NOW WAIT TILL THE FALL" signed "DEA" no **** they do. Well this year I am growing all my own (thanks Growkind) and I am completly missing the drought ROFLMAO. Does anyone else have these POLITICAL pushes in their areas ?
In NJ i see billboards every fall for a $500 reward for anyone who rats out growers. pretty fucked up ****.
Jesus they advertise? What's the world comming to, when people encourage rats. Glad they don't do that here, rats don't need to be encouraged, their bad enough. Shooting holes in the billboard sounds like a good idea Mrs B.
Its completely different here in kentucky, well at least the part i live in, there arent hardly any rats at all. I geuss cuz theres so much pot and drugs here. According to norml.org, kentucky is the 3rd pot producing state. I know of at least 5 meth labs on my road and a few grow sites, if i took a little drive around im sure i know of a ton of em. Heh even the other day i drove buy a trail that leads to a spot and i saw a van parked on the side of the road and they were loading big black trash bags into it from fourwheelers. And its not just me that knows, everyone does, just no one cares. Well they might care, its just that everyone knows to mind there own business here.
A few years ago I saw a thing on Dateline about the farmers (in kentucky I think) growing a bit of bud and how this one sheriff was busting eveyone. Some of the towns folk got together when it was time to elect a new sheriff and got a pot friendly one. The next grow season not a single person was busted for growing. Goes to show you can only police the people as far as they want to be policed.
Yeah most the farmers around here are really nice people and just try to make a living and keep the farms going that have been in there families for generations. But farming is hard with little payoff, so sometimes they gotta have a little help. Nothing wrong with that at all. And in small towns, you know pretty much everyone, so if ya mess with some people then everyone finds out about it and does something about it.
