well after smoking a lot these last few years, i decided i wasn't going to hide it from my family any more. i started smoking inside my house and admitting to it. (i'm 15) well my arrogant parent (aunt) is trying to be like the rest of america and say it's not okay to smoke weed. after out debating her in every shape and form about smoking, she stops calling it weed and starts calling it "dope." "if you think i'm going to let you smoke illegal drugs, then you're out of your fucking mind you dope junkie!!!" she says. she's going to put me in foster care if i don't agree to her rules, which i haven't just yet. so now it looks like i won't be able to smoke till i'm 18. which i'm not so sure is that bad of a thing. i mean certain privleges are awarded with age. as ridiculous as it is, i didn't know what i was expecting from another sheep from the flock. she's a hippocrat
Well, sorry to say this, but that's what you're going to get, no doubt, when you are 15 and smoking weed... if you were about 3-5 years older, it may be a lot different. You seem to be a little more mature for your age, but that doesn't matter. You're aunt is going to see you as an innocent victim of the drug culture. She is probably brainwashed by 1980's Reagan era anti-bad guy movies and the typical anti-drug mindset that dominates most adults who come from conservative backgrounds. She is probably repressed and doesn't have a sex life. You lose. Just go smoke out in the woods.
A while back I came to the defence of someone in a similar situation, on this forum, and all hell broke loose. Me being UK didn't understand the US laws, and as THC Dude rightly pointed out to me, it's not only you being in trouble, but apparently your aunt could lose her home and possessions, if YOU are caught, So all I can say is abide by her rules and have a little respect for HER property........hope I'm not dictating here, I've tried to beat the system and failed, as in time you will find out.... stay cool, an' yeah..smoke in the woods.

Its her house so dont smoke there. I have smoked since i was about 13 (im now 22) but i have never done it in view of my family and definitly not in my parents house. They have always knew what i was up too, ive never lied about it, but there are certain rules in my parents house which i must follow.
Yup, if you're underage and living with your parents, you basically don't have any rights. It sucks. Smoke outside somewhere until you're old enough to get your own place.
There is no governing force that prevents underage persons from posting as of now. Im not sure what kind of threat this poses. But i know it shouldnt influence the CCS or anything like that in pushing this site. Reason being, the Terms of Service (TOS) Agreement and Disclaimer provide an agreement stating that you ARE OVER "18" I think you are right, if you are under the age of 18, keep it to yourself and no action will be taken. But when you clearly state your age is under 18 by posting etc, Then you risk being banned by the webbie (who is not known to ban minors anyway really) and you jepordize the integrity and structure of the site by opening it up to critics who attack websites allowing minor access to X/R rated material. I would say either wait till your old enough, or the same law as the military, Dont ask, Dont tell.
well actually, there's no law saying that minors can't enter growkind.com, i mean i know it says don't come in unless your 18, but that's just for show. it doesn't matter, for all you know, i'm 45. there's no way to trace a certain person to a post, because more than one person lives in my house. and anyway, my aunt can't lose her house because i'm not growing, and i'm not selling either. so the most that could happen to her is a fine probably, but i'm not saying that's okay either. the laws here in utah are horrid, it makes me want to kill some politicans. really, besides snowboarding, utah is one of the worst places in north america to live.

Well your 15 and it's her house.... her rules. You pay your own way you make your own rules. Hell I'm 42 and I go outside to smoke my pot and cig's. #1 it's my choice to smoke #2 my wife doesn't smoke #3 my kids to young to even know about smoking. So even though I pay the bills here I don't choose to force my wife and kid to smoke, hence I go outside. Quiter out there anyway. When I lived with my folks I'd go outside as my dad hates the smell of the pot. hehe I still go outside to smoke when I'm there to visit. Just think in 3 more years you will be able to vote to change the crappy pot laws. Till then just sneek about like every other 15 yr old kid.
