i just got a new apartment. I had a bitch of a time finding one without a lease and credit check but after looking a little harder I found one with nO lease and NO credit check. The fucking guy didn't even ask me for my drivers license so i gave him a phoney name. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED ....Or so i thought? I called for new cable service from Time Warner and after spending 20 fucking minutes going over their different plans they told me "repeatedly" that i needed to show a picture i.d. when they come to my humble pad. What do i do? Should i say " ah **** I forgot about that, I lost the fucking thing" and if he gives me a hard time I throw down a crisp $100 bill. (my first cable bill is only $40 bucks) Most of these guys are young dudes in their early 20's. Sounds easily bribeable to me. And NO i cant put any utlities under my real name. Have any suggestions? I cant believe how strict they are. I guess its because of people ripping them off and NOT paying their bill. Fucking punks!
Why r u worried about showing a picture ID....are you wanted or something? Because if the cops want to find you by name....they just check the postal data base or IRS.
Dude if your wanted by the 50 then can't ya get a friend to come over and show his ID and pretend to be you, since ya don't have a lease there shouldn't be anything to prove that he isn't you. I don't know man, would that work?
Jesus, your makin fun of people with bad credit when it sounds to me like your the one with bad or no credit. Anyway, just kidnap the cable guy, threaten him, and send him on his way spooked out and afraid to talk. Makes no since really. Ask yerself.
agrowguy, i dont rake up 1,000 phone bills or **** like that, my fathers business went through the toilet, so i lost my job and couldn't make the $450.00 a month payments on my corvette anymore. So I did a voluntary repo. so the greedy bastards sold the vette at auction for **** and want me to pay the fucking difference. They are trying to sue my ass so i need to hide out for 2 more years after this they cant sue me anymore because the statue of limitations will run out and my credit record will be sparkling clean-they know this-thats why they want my ass hey chopstick, I was thinking about getting this complete loser down the street from me to put everything in his name...its just a matter of the right "pay-off". hey greenthumb, sorry dude, the cops nor private I's wont find me that easy. I never paid taxes -I worked for my dad all my life, The apartment is under a phoney name -NO Lease -NO credit check, The utlities will be under someone elses name, I never made a forwarding address change with the Postal asswipes, the address on my Drivers license is a Phoney, I get my car insurance bill at a P.O. box and they have my phoney address on file. I pay cash for everything. let this be a lesson to you guys...dont **** up your credit!
Just don't make the payoff in weed cuz if they do nail his ass, he'll roll over on you in a hearttbeat.

haha, hey drugpusher, sorry to hear about your vette man, those things are the ride!! I like the c5 the best, hella fast. Anyway, I dont think the cable guy would care too much if you dont have your ID. THe worst that could happen is if you tried to give him the hundred and he still wanted to see your ID. But if he does want to see it, and you don't have it. He'll just say, we will come back. Thats all....

Pusher looks like you covered your ass so far but remember it's the little things that trip you up. Yes i know about bad credit,one time i had alot of sparkling clean credit and then i got married......say no more.
Pusher I had the same problem 13 years ago.I turned In my full size ford and wasent late just knew I couldnt pay for it anymore and they sold it at auction for $3,000 and I still owed $15,000 it was worth about 12,00.Is that crazy or what.I had to find out why.So I got a freind who is a privet eye to look into it and he found out they were pulling a scam on people buy selling them at a setup auction house. Only their buddys were invited or each other(5 car repo agents were involed).They would either get the suckers to pay the differance or they would right it off as a loss.It took me 5 years to get it off of my credit report.
hey dawg, when i turned in my 1995 vette in 2000 it was still worth $25,000 buckeroo's. I dont know how much they sold it at auction for because i gave em a phoney address knowing full well that they would be at my front doorstep with a sue-happy grin on their sober stressed-out pusses! I think they sold it for **** because these fuckers were tapping my phone and walking around asking my neighbors if they knew me, the sheriff tried to serve me with lawsuit papers but I posed as my younger brother to worm out of it. They called all my relatives on a regular basis posing as my freinds to get my "Ghost" address. They tapped my fathers phone for christ sakes. Anyways, I'm already in the proccess of establishing a new identity-once complete-I'll be a new person and NO more looking over my shoulder! Oh, you said you waited 5 years? My bad mark stays on for 7 years..its already been 2 years.
I had to fight then for 5 years to get it off of my credit report.my sister has one on her credit report from 9 years ago.If you dont get after them they will not remove anything even after 7 years.
