This sunday the smoking grooves tour is coming to my area. for those of you who dont know its a hip hop tour with outkast jurassic 5 and the roots crew. Now if your a hip hop lover like me the roots are the ultimate. One of the members SKRATCH is by far the best thing ive ever heard. this guy can imitate a set of turntables with his mouth and you would never know the difference between him and a dj. All i can say is that im gonna get smoked out with some BCs and listen to some good hip hop. good weed and good music will keep me happy for eternity
Hellz yea, I hope you have fun, SKRATCH can imitate turn-tables and all the beats and all? You should look up a guy named Rhazel, he is better then Skratch I bet (guarantee it!). Rhazel has won awards (including "Worlds Best Beat Boxer") NOW WHA!!
ah yes rahzel also from the roots crew. he is a beat boxer and although very talented does not have the abilty to mix and scratch words. im telling you friend download some skratch off the internet he will blow your mind
I wish I could hear a sample of Skratche's skillz, but I no longer have KaZaA because this computer don't accept it no more, I have to wait til' my computer upstairs get's hooked back up. But I have heard Rhazel mix and turn words, they don't just name you the World's Best Beat-Boxer for no reason... well let me sum it up SKRATCH and RAHZEL are both part of the roots crew. if your not familiar with the roots they are the ****. hip hop at its purest no dj no beats done with a mpc just drums, bass, vocals and when mixing is needed scratch does it vocally. it is really mind boggling to hear this. as for a link i couldnt tell ya i get my **** off kazaa
Roots? As in Nappy Roots? I need to check their tour schedule and see when they are coming to my city... P.S: If it's nappy roots, their one song I think titled Poor Boyz or somethin is phat as hell. All my life I've been poor, It don't even matter no more, You wander why we act this way, But nappy roots gonna be ok!
Ok, I will keep my ears open for Skratch, I will judge for myself. And yes, it is very mind boggling, whats crazy is trying to make the same sounds your self, it's hard to even make 2 "good" sounds at once, they do around 8 sounds at once... GANGSTA
