In summary, we conclude that MH can be used for both as well as HPS. The extent to the effectiveness in both is still in question. Both have given me great results thus far.


MH = less lumens, less orange spectrum, more blue spectrum


HPS = more lumens, more orange spectrum, less blue spectrum


Having both is recommended, but you can get by on either.
