the local home improvement store is having a sale on soil since it is the end of the season. usually i use a 40/60 mixture of fox farm (the red bag?) and promix from my indoor grow shop but i figure i could save some bucks if i go the other way. i was thinking 1 part composted humus, 2 part peat moss, 1 part perlite or vermiculite , and 1 part potting soil. any thoughts?

fox farms is good shit- buy it up.....but dont replace perlite in your mix for vermeculite.... add vermeculite and 1 less part peat as peat uses up alot of N and causes ph to flucuate.
