I'm about a week away to start flowering...I got to plants none have any dead leaves though some of the top leaves are curling but I think it's due to the light being to close... but I would like to know if I should prune or even how do I do it... and one plant seems to growing outta control height wise I wanna know is there a way to stop it from growing to tall?
If all your leaves look green and healthy theres no need to prune, tho some ppl cut the very bottom node cause they make shitty bud but I'd leave it.
yup^ dont prune..... how big u need them to be when they finish budding? and for the curling, back the light off until the leaves return to normal. but still could be stunted so it couls be a few days.... good luck!
well I'm not sure of the strain but the tall plant is about 2 1/2 ft tall and the other is like a foot... and I have to keep raising the lamp well that make my other plant suffer?
Since you still haven't stared flowering tie that tall plant over. Trust me its that easy but maybe try to wrap it around circular or bend it over enough so that the other plants may be able to cacth up hieght wise during the stretch during the switch to flower. Also you should look into suppercropping like Trill suggested, bigger stems can = bigger buds!
What does the color or health of the leaves have to do with prunning? Do you even know what pruning is? I personally would prune if you are gonna veg for a couple more weeks, but if not tie her over and put the other plant on a stand to raise it to the proper level. PEACE!
i was wondering about purning or at least trimming leaves myself. at what point do you cut sun leaves to allow light to the interior folage. or do the sun leave provide enough for the interior growth as well. i just see an awfully lot of growth down inside the plant that look like they want light bad. i know that dead leaves and those not producing need to be cut. but when do you, if ever, sacrifice leaves to allow light to others? peace, CG
Raise your short plant. I got one growing now that's shorter than my others but it's sitting on top of a paint can. All nice and even without tieing any of the others down. CG do not cut fan leaves! That's where 90% of your photosynthesis occurs. If you really feel the need then tuck some out of the way a little. You can also cut off some of the lower branches which won't produce much anyway if you want a little more light getting in. Fan leaves are mandatory not optional.

i trim several sets of the lower nodes on plants about 2 weeks into 12-12. that's when the stretch generally ends. you'll know by then which ones aren't gonna produce bud any way. never cut fan leaves off.
No I never heard of supercropping what is it? I just tied the taller plant down today but I'm supposed to be start flowering on monday is it alright to have it tied down for flowering?
Yes I know what pruning is I was referring to when the bottom of the plant and how sometime the very bottom leaves turn yellow and you just cut them off cause it doesn't really hurt the plant but if all the leaves look good there no need to prune IMO.

Yes you can trim them bushs. Only trim all secondary growth. The curling you may see. Could be from over fert or light getting to warm at the top of the plant. Over fert usely shows all over and under fert shows up as yellow curling leafes. Watch out for those littel yellow spots. Mites love eating on the greens.
