That's the same reason I didn't sign up for another forum. People just get tired of signing up for every site. How many usernames, pins and passwords do you have in your life that's right too fucking many. No, problem thought I'm going to go take care of my garden.
sorry guys, i didnt know you had to sign up to view the thread. anyhow, this thread is his newest thread where he talks about how he got the idea back in the 80's, and has done years of growing in it, and similar designs to see what gets the best results. basically he perfected, and simplified the design and proved results similar to deep water culture with a one piece pot, and no machinery to deal with. he doesnt claim it to be the best hydroponic method, but has proven it to be one of the most efficient methods, as well as simple and dirt cheap to make. the design works so well that somebody else has just patented it and is marketing it under a different name giving no royalties to hempy.
Most of that info is in his original thread on hg420. He got pissed off because of all the people challenging his method that they hadn't even tried. Idiots I wonder how a bucket with a hole in it can be patented. I don't think it's gonna sell much...who's gonna pay top dollar for a $3 bucket with a hole?
the patented bucket will more than likely be improved on, but still have a res. attached, or at least a runoff dish attached. it will still be passive organic, and may include the medium requiring hydro nutes with waterings. trust me, if it works, people will buy it. not everyone wants to be a handyman to save money. ive thought about ideas, and even given people ideas of cheap stuff to make and later seen the ready to use product on the market. i even know a guy who patented a d.i.y. idea that i gave him that a lot of people were already using. ever hear of the urinator drug test passing kit?
