how fast after veg starts can i start a 12/12 cycle so i can sex my plants more quickly. any info on this topic would help me alot ty. i need the quickest way stay up
i have switched after 3 weeks of vegitative growth from the day the seed poped out of soil and they showed sex within a week. but im shure it has alot to do with what strain your using
Sexing... I'd say three weeks to a month, but then i guess it really does depend on the flavor... Growing from seed is like hitting the casino tho, I only do it when i need no guarantees...

wait till it looks healthy enough to take a clone. i would wait till you know the sex first, because then the plant will have enough time to grow and be strong, and to be on the safe side aswell. i have never cloned before haha so take that into consideration when taking my cloning advice.
Ish.....if you've never cloned why are you giving advice? I'm with Greybush....after your plant has grown large enough (sometimes age has little to do with SIZE) to take a cutting...take one and root it. Meanwhile keep the host plant in veg. Once you have roots on the clone...cut it's light cycle to 12 hrs on and 12 hrs off (this means complete darkness for 12 hrs...ZERO light leaks) to sex it. This method gives you the sex of the plant without losing time in veg.
