Hi all. This is my first post, though I've been lurking around for a little while, reading any and all posts that are new or useful to me. This is part thank you thread and part gallery. Without all the lovely information from this site I would not be doing so well with my current plants. I've currently got four plants growing. Beginner's luck, I planted four seeds and got four females. The seeds were nothing special, just run of the mill bagseed I had laying around. The grow started as an experiment. Initially I was just going to see how they went with little to no special treatment. Once they started growing though, that quickly got thrown out the window as once I saw them I decided I wanted to make a proper go of it, and thus the absorbtion of information began. I'm posting pics of my most advanced plant for the moment, with more to come in the future of the typical harvest/dried etc. style. Bigger pictures are available in my gallery. A couple shots of some buds about halfway down the plant: And one of the top: Clearly these are nothing special, but I'm quite pleased with them for my first grow, and with no prior reading (big mistake, but like I said at first I thought I wasn't going to fall in love with them so). One of my other plants is also quite well into budding, but got stunted quite a bit through a PH lockout issue. Another one had a similar though less advanced issue and is beginning to bud now, and my last plant has only just started budding but is an absolute monster (in terms of my plants) at somewhere between 1.5-2m tall, and looking very healthy. So thank you to all of you who have posted your wealth of knowledge. It is greatly appreciated.
It warms my heart to here about a GK member that has grown from someone that had only planted a seed with no knowledge and learned here at GK how to grow. Man now you got free smoke for life! Congrats on the grow and I look forward to seeing the final result when done.
Just consider "The Experiment" a "learning experience." You'll be surprised at how much you've learned, 2ndX around! Lookin' good, Brother!
Nice grow! That's how ya learn, my friend... By just doing it and seeing what happens, and by listening to and taking advice from more experienced people. Well done!
