How did he get into your truck you may have mentioned it in one of the posts you said you didn't consent to a search usually it takes hours for a warrant. I hope you weren't inspecting the pavement for that long cuz that's cruel and unusual in my eyes. He did a felony traffic stop on your ass? Gun drawn calling you out of your vehicle? What zone were you in? For anyone not familiar with pittsburgh cops they are usually dicks that deal with more drunks than anything. So when they get a full on weapon and drug charge brewin watch the fuck out. I can't figure out why he tackled you before he disarmed you that is not police proceedure at all. he should have made you walk backwards toward the sound of his voice handcuffed you gotten your peice and patted you down. I've been there before young kid rollin in the integra full body kit rims loud sounds buzzin through the northside late at night then again in mt washington late night. both times they caught me on my way home. Suits are suits, whatever ... I don't have a problem spending money to get a very well made and well fit suit. Law states you have to give your pistol license with your regular license or tell the cop you're carrying (one of the two, make the cop aware in some form ... some are cool with it, I'll hand them my blue card and my license and let them know it's on my hip at my 5-o'clock and they will just say "Thanks for letting me know".) Nope, I didn't consent to any search. He simply pressed the "unlock" button on my trucks keypad, but how can I prove I hadn't left it open :5headache: I've got dark tint, that's the reason he came up to the truck with the gun (or so the Dept says, it's typical procedure I guess). He asked me to step out, rather than talk to me through the tinted windows and the 3" crack I had at the top to talk hand him my license and registration. I mean shit ... I roll same way as you do when I'm not in a work truck, C6 Corvette or 2002 Camaro with about 700hp to the RW. Never get any shit in those, and the C6 is blacked out to the max ... (taillights, 5% on all the windows (INCLUDING front window), headlights are black, wheels are black ... CAR is black. The Camaro is louder than a fart in an elevator, never any problems for that ... I mean I just can't piece together what went through his mind? ... was it going to be a regular stop for "oh I was just making sure you had a seatbelt" or "You made a wide turn" ... whatever, just getting bored and needing some fresh air? Or did I really do something wrong? No call from anyone today, Monday I have a meeting with the Prosecutor (who got wind of all the shit we threw at the department lol) and he (might be a she? sounds like a queer for all I know on the phone ...) ... guess they want to work with me, yeah right! And I hope these bitches don't think I'm sitting another minute in that fricken jail ...

What about your CHL? I had one in Texas for many years, and one of the requirements was that I was not taking any drugs. I remember the application specifically asking if I smoked MJ. If your state has a similar condition as grounds for getting your CHL, you may lose it as well if this doesn't all go in your favor. Once again, I wish you the best of luck John.

So the prosecutor told me that she would drop the possession charges if I take a plea to a concealed carry charge ... I started laughing right there. I actually teared up a little and she asked what my problem was ... :qbluewacko: Why the HELL am I going to plea to a conceal carry charge when I was WELL within my rights to have it at the time? Then she went away and me and my lawyer BS'd over some crappy coffee they gave us, and came back and wanted to start working out a deal ... They're making fools of themselves by throwing this bullshit at me, I told the prosecutor to just drop ALL charges before they spend more of the taxpayers dollars trying to get a conviction on me when I'm going to turn around and drop a suit against the Department :icon_bounce: She kept saying how 'I was a big fish they wanted to catch' and some other shit ... I just kept laughing, this bitch is just like every other retarded ass cop that thinks they understand the drug game. She kept telling me how they had a warrant to raid my house for more aswell, lol, and kept providing me the address of the the last place I lived, that's still on my I.D ... glad I never got that changed I'm just tickled pink over this ... I'm either going to get fucked by an idiot prosecutor and rape the state, or they'll realize the officer did wrong and drop charges. I got really cocky before she left and told her to watch what she says and does, because I might be looking for a prosecutor's job ... I walked out of the office laughing.

So whats the moral of the story. Just pull over when the cops are behind you with the lights on and you will be in less trouble or no trouble.
LOL no crap, if that is what it boils down to ... well ... whatever. But to your point - even having seen the lights, it would have been ~3-4 blocks more before I could have pulled over. I turned on the next to road, approx. 3/4 block f rom seeing lights. Long stretch around a turn on the river, has no off roads from the light until the one I came up to. Even if I HAD seen the cop, all I did was keep pace at ~35mph for those 3-4 blocks and then I put my signal on and turned into the street and stopped in the 4th available parking spot on the side of the road, so he had room behind me and room for anyone turning. It's not even really being mentioned I was 'evading'... didn't hear that word from the horses ass at least.

Amen....Try being a young long-haired guy in a town full of rednecks.....If I started a thread for every time I've been stopped...well...I might be up there is post count with herb and TA. And don't worry John, last time I was illegally stopped and harassed, and I put my story up on here, all I got was, "Well, your fault for not doing anything wrong."
So here's a little update ... the Officer is now currently suspended from duty without pay. I was given a temporary "out-of-state" to go to the West coast ... I don't know for sure if everything will be dropped, but the popo's came knocking with a warrant (at 4:30AM, the only time they knew I'd be home) and took 5 pistols I have registered in PA, three shotguns and three rifles. My CPL has been revoked by the Sheriff (out of principle), but I will get all my guns back considering I can either plea to a bullshit misdemeanor or get the felony dropped (felon = no guns). I should be able to get my CPL re-instated if I don't wind up with any felony or violent charges out of this (again, out of principle). The marijuana thing won't be able to be held against me, because it was illegal conduct. So I can still answer as truthfully as any politician in this country when they ask me if I'm a habitual user. The department issued a formal apology for the Officer's conduct ... gee thanks. Tomorrow we will be dropping the paperwork on the Department for a long, long list of things that they did wrong ... mostly just to add to the case of getting the Ossifer fired. We cited a total of $31,000 in damages caused by the Officer's conduct. Now the Department has 2 options ... 1) Put liability on the Officer 2) Step up to the plate and say "Yeah, our Officers represent the DEPARTMENT and we will take responsibility for his actions" Either way, I probably won't see a dime of the money but since it's not just a small claims suit it will allow us to subpoena a lot more information (including an interview with the officer shortly after and his official statements, statements from corrections officers that booked me and shot the shit with the cop after I was in a cell about the arrest, and statements from the Cheif we recorded when we talked to him about Dept. policies). If they DO put liability on the Officer, and the Judge likes me, then they will likely foreclose on his house after he can't make the next payment since neither him, nor his wife have any means of income right now, and I'll collect the money out of his equity. Otherwise, the Department may be held liable for damages. Possession got dropped, due to illegal search. I have to wait to get in front of a Judge to get the concealed weapons charge dropped, since I had a permit at the time it should be dropped.
all i have to say is make sure you fuck over that cop as hard as you can its FUCKING BULLSHIT the amount of power a cop has they can pretty much get away with anything and it needs to STOP

Not sure if you are growing right now or not, I'm assuming not, but if you were would they have discovered your grow?
