Man I heard that shit, I'm on probation and I'm goin back to my home town next weekend which I don't hardly ever get to see my good friends down there, but I'm still thinking about smoking a lil bit even though I gotta take a test that next week....friggin sux mayn I dunno what to do. My PO has been pretty lenient when it comes to jus having weed in my system sometimes even though I got arrested a couple months ago on a weed possession charge, I've been goin to AA/NA like every day plus multiple other classes so I guess that's why he's been pretty cool about it ya kno but if I fail again it could possibly mean goin to jail. I just wanna have a smoke like old times and not have to worry about the bullshit, I hate the damn laws on marijuana. Drug tests suck!!
When it comes to a piss test. Just use some quick fix. Has worked for me for years. Its like $30 online. Everyone should have a bottle on hand. As far as your piss test goes, alcohol should be no problem. Unless they are looking for it. alcohol stays tracable in you for up to 72 hrs. Good luck
If your legal to drink, like many of the others have said? then the generic rule of thumb is you would only risk issues if you were legally drunk when you dropped the sample. About the additives? the only thing that I've used, and gotten away with, is synthetic pee pee. I don't doubt that others have luck with additives and drinks. I set for DOT standard tests so I want the nuclear option :icon_confused: When you sign for the sample, they have to give you in writing WHAT your testing for, and what the CUT OFFS for the same are. If you plan on having to test there again? then save that paper, so you will know what your facing NEXT time, as in booze, vicoden, valium, often AREN'T on the tests, but you will KNOW next time. If they DON'T offer you this document? please ASK them for your chain of Custody form, its your right to have it. Best of luck with the piss cops. :eusa_shifty:
If they're not testing for ethyl alcohol, it won't show up, obviously. If they are checking ea, then YES, 1 beer will give a positive read. About 10 yrs. ago, I had to jump thru hoop's for 3 1/2 yrs., resulting from a DUI and keeping my Nursing license. The testing was extended 'cause i came-up pos 2-3 time's due to HIGH A1C(diabetic). I quit for 8 yrs....at that point 2. I'm like "WTF!" :icon_confused: As stated, or queried, before...Why Risk It??!! I waited (8yrs./loss of D-O-G changed all that) 'till I did ANYTHING! Reason for no smoking: eventual licensing in another field. I STILL had to go before a Board and explain my past, present, and future. If I were drinking, they'd have known! off the record, an OLD FD told me he had a family member struggling with alcoholism IMO, if you use before you're cleared, and you're anything like me, you're either still very immature(don't give a F!)or in very active addiction. If you really want that end "reward", you'll find it in you to hold-out alittle longer. Be Cool
