I want to use soil especially, maybe ferts...i don't know...I guess i will if I use the soil? I want to use Ocean Forrest soil. I think it would be the best.... I know ferts aern't needed for maybe the first month AFTER the seedling stage...is this the case? Thanks guys and gals. I ripped a MINT condition shirt from my high schooldays on a 4 inch doorknob...FUCKING 4 inch long doorknob...who the fuck uses that shit...fucked my day up.
I use FF nutes and soil and cant be happier. I mix my FFOF with about 20-25% perlite. I only had a slight problem during seedling stage to EARLY veg stage because the soil is a little hot. Next time I am going to mix either the Light warrior or more like 45-50% perlite during veg next time. If you check my gallary out, you will see my plants. I have yet to go over 1/2 strength for ferts and its like 4-5 weeks into flower. I highly recommend Fox Farm, but then again, when you go from Scotts or MG soil to FF its like a new world!
i used FF products for years....the ocean forest soil is the shit....i used grow big fro veg and a combination of big bloom and tiger bloom for bloom. i would a often go the entire veg stage with no ferts....i would also add a dose of grow big about half way through flower. what is it you wanna know?
I'm using FF nutes, the whole kit. I'll have to give you a report after I'm done. I guess there doing good, I can't compare it since this is my first grow. But as I look at other pics of other growers I am doing good. I think. I just have one out of my 41 that has curled down leaves with brown edges. I give the recomended FF dose every week and water the other times. they are growing like weed :laughing5: I want to know when to sex them, so I don't have to bother with the boys. IMO hope it helps.
i use FF Happy Frog after someone told me it was 25% FF Light Warrior an 75% FF Ocean Forest, which is what many users of Fox farms soil were mixing up themselves including me. FFHF was a product made from user feedback. so far i couldnt be happier with the way it holds moisture, and drains properly. i add additional nutes, although its not necessary till bloom. any time in the past, (before i had a drip system set up,) i didnt have the time to mix nutes i just added plain water to keep em going till i had the time to feed and still got an EXCELLENT yield. ive tried a couple other soils when my hydro shop was out of FF soil, or when i wanted to try miracle grow organic soil for the price, and as soon as i opened the bags i was pissed.IMO, compared to FF soil, most other brands are crap, and one of em even brought gnats into my room. if i couldnt get foxfarms soil i would use black gold, or some other complete organic soil, but otherwise might just switch to hydro before using something inferior.
