    this is sad scott kalitta died sat. after bursting into flames at 300 mph and hitting concreat post at end of track. a tragic loss

    I watched racing as a kid and I remember Connie real well. I've seen the actual accident on YouTube. :new_shocked: When he that concrete, you knew that was the end. No one could walk away from that. Hopefully the track officials will learn from this and design a safer stop system at the end of the track. Poor dude. At least it was fast.
