I got the Hortilux 400w Super HPS ! Any body else use these? It's my first HPS! Now I can retire my MH bulb (save it in case of emergency of course). Just installed it! I'm excited. :devildance: Grat

It's always fun growing and expanding. Just wait...soon you'll be thinking about a 600W and then it'll be a 1000W. I know it makes my pee pee hard thinking about what I could do with a 1000W light if I ever got the chance. I'd say :qshatter: to the old 430W in a heartbeat.
Grat nice to see your op expanding. HPS is def the way to do things. your op is about the same size as mine except i cut the shelves of my closet and moved the center divider over about 4 inches. I have been looking at houses lately since i am in the market. I walk around and seriously look for where i would put my grow op. There was a nice 3 bdrm in my price range but it was only a block away from a school not good with the whole 1000ft school zone max. penalty thing. But i cannot wait to have at least a 6x8' room at my disposal. I will now daydream... DSP

I had a 430w hortilux forever. I loved that lamp. I like the aspect of getting it down close to the tips, and sweating the trichs out of those buds. I have a 1000w lamp now. I'm still learning its nuances, but I often wonder? would I have been better served? buying another 400? or going with two 600w? based on the above? :icon_confused: I had that lamp forever!!! I still got it, laying around, collecting dust now. I don't know what to do with it, with my T-5 set up? You'll like that set up.
