Anybody know of a strain that I could buy seeds for this type of effect, that gives you a codeine type of effect that doesn't get you paranoid either. I have no idea what perc's are like so i couldn't even begin to tell ya what type of buzz it is. My wife likes to take perc's but can't get them (well other than online which is to expensive), so I told her that unfortunately I can't grow perc's, but I thought maybe some fellow gker's could give me some ideas, she doesn't like the paranoid feelin, don't know if there is such a thing, I checked out the mediciaml list but didn't realy find anything of course I could of overlooked. Grow some poppy plants. The seeds are legal to buy in most countries. They are legal to buy in the USA as well.

Growing that kind of poppy is a crime. As for the opiate effect... Hard to nail down. Marijuana is a stimulant ; however, some strains are higher in CBN, and other "breakdown" forms of THC Here is an interesting read. I have nothing to say pro or con on the subject. Just a quick research and an interesting result. dronabinol --------------------- "dronabinol"is not a trade mark but a name given to define natural delta-9-THC extracted directly from the Cannabis Sativa. L. plant. It can be for example through isomerization ( isomerized ) or through cyclization ( cyclisized ) from natural CBD, or other cannabinoids that have being extracted from Cannabis sativa L. plants . "dronabinol" is not called "natural delta-9-THC" because it may contain traces of other cannabinoids as CBD or CBC, CBN, etc. It must not be pure delta-9-THC. To call it "natural-delta-9-THC" it should be only this, 100% pure, and not admitting other stuffs like "dronabinol" does. This was the reason to give to the mix another name than the common one known: natural cis-delta-9-THC or simply: THC As a definition, the content of delta-9-THC in "dronabinol" must be at least of 95 % where delta-8-THC may not exceed 2 % of the total mass. After this definition, the worldwide through over 300 million people eaten, vaporized or smoked cannabis (hashish, marijuana, etc.) contents indeed "dronabinol" among other things. "dronabinol" is a recipe substance in Germany, and in the meantime in other countries, that can be prescribed from any physician with a so called "narcotic-prescription"-bill as opiates, like morphine or codeine are prescribed today or can be used in research as it is done today in many universities. Many countries that should allow the prescription of "dronabinol" does not allow it although it is illegal to forbid its prescription since "dronabinol" is defined since 1/98 internationally as a prescription drug (like morphine). "dronabinol" may not be prescribed alone but for instance, mixed with sesame oil or delivered together with a device to be inhaled, or whatever other means that makes possible to be applied but - at least still in Germany- not alone as a medicine itself. Any authorized pharmacist, physician, scientist or company can produce dronabinol from CBD in countries where CBD, has not being forbidden (In the USA, although it has no psychotropic effect, it is forbidden and needs a special permission for import). Natural delta-9-THC or "dronabinol" have many side effects depending on the dosis. Some of them pleasant but also some very unpleasant for people not used to it. After some days of use, in the most of the cases, the patients can adapt their selves to those side effects and regulate the own dosage. More than 5 mg in one take can, for sure, give the so called "high" of Cannabis. A grass joint may contain until 200 mg or more of delta-9-thc. There are no known cannabis deaths in the human history. But in the case of coronary diseases, THC can be very dangerous and may also occasioned a blood pressure collapse. Smoked plant material can injure the lungs and all other breath organs. Many researchers, one of them for a short time in Catalonia, Spain, have arrived to the conclusion, among others, that delta-9-THC ("dronabinol") may have the same effect combined with opiates as the opiates itself. The scientists have found ligands that normally act after the presence of opiates but in this case the same ligands, opiates receptors, responded to the presence of delta-9-THC producing the same effect than opiates would do. This means nothing less that through the dosage of delta-9-THC together with some opiates is possible to even reduce the normal dosage of opiates until a half of what normally has being prescribed before without loosing any of the pain easing effects, but with half the risk of getting dependent of the opiate itself. This is a matter of fact that the experts in Cannabis knows since the 20´s or even before. The response of opiates ligands that have being found in last research studies in the brain of laboratory mice, gives the hope that delta-9-THC (or "dronabinol") can help to ease or finish successful a deprivation of opiates like heroin, morphine, etc. but not making the humans dependent on cannabis. The G13/Hashplant cross that I grew was HANDS DOWN the best thing I EVER grew. MANY people that are knowledgeable about pot smoked it and said the same thing. The yield was not the best, but the buds were VERY dense and the smoke/buzz was incredible. Very heavy buzz.
Don't know if this will help But I had some BLUEBERRY two weeks ago from a freind and the smoke was deep and body numbing. Not sure which Blueberry strain though...BUT IT SMELT JUST LIKE BLUEBERRIES
