Am I pushing it ?

This time i decided no fucking around, so i put all 17 in 5 and 8 gallon pots I only have a 600 watt , Now as soon as their sexed that number
will go down, hopefully not too much but anyway can I veg 17 in those size pots and get em sexed or do i need ANOTHER 600 watt?

Just out of curiosity, what modifications will you have to make to your exhaust system to compensate for another 600?

I would use it and I'm not trying to do that, 600 is bout all i want to do.

 

How big are these plants right now? If they aren't huge you could finish that many plants in 3 gal containers no problem at all. Though if they are big enough for those huge containers I agree another 600W is needed.

 

IMO, more than four 3 foot plants in 3 gallon containers need more than just a 600 watter to get the maximum out of them.

 

Thanks man, there small so i can do what you suggest, Thinking bout it its the best way, they may not get big but i can sex em all at one time


and clone what i need, it will take a little longer but i can do it with only 1 600. I really do not want another, My dumb ass would use it.

 

hey Toker, have you thought about planting them back into smaller pots? I mean if they haven't rooted the new pots, it should be no problem. Just asking cause 5 and 8 gallon is a lot of root space, really I only see this making sense if ya keep veging them to be big bushes, and then you're defo gonna need another 600W. Is there a reason for going with such big pots?

 

Kinda like others said, why in gods name are you planting your lil ladies in a dump truck sized pot? You gotta be out 300 bucks in soil for 17 plants.......tone it down homie........first off you can never have too much light......too little ventilation YES.......NEVER too little light tho......grab up that 600......Id keep em in the big pots tho, now that their in there just leave em alone, no reason to stress em out again.


I can fit 28......2.5gal square pots in my veg (4x3).......bout 35 in flower (4x5)

so i repot in smaller ones , sex em and take my lady clones and put them in the big ones.

I have heard the bigger the Pot ....the bigger the harvest, so i got ahead of myself, Untill i sex them theres no need for such big ones, and i can let them flower , collect the clones and PLANT a forrest lolassit:

 

I dont need an 8x8 lol, this is my second grow inside and im kinda wanting to keep it a little smaller. Plus i need to spend the money on the t5s

another 70 bucks for the mushroom compost, and around 80 bucks for the black cow topsoil..........oh and 30 bucks for the perlite.


Yup its costing me a little but , I hope it is at least 10% better grow than the last grow , and that was my first one

Lowe's, Should have went to a nursery I suppose, but i put them back in

Lady's impatiens and parsley and Oregano and snatch em back if i need em

 

I helped a buddy with a grow at his place and he was using a single digital 600W. There were 16 plants in 3 gal pots(4x4), and about 12" tall when flowered, and it worked out good. They didn't stretch awhole lot and the light was kept ~12" from the tops so the plants got good light penetration and filled out well. The more plants you have the more you need to try and decrease their foot print, especially in soil, then there is always the possibility of overgrowing the light, though that's more of a problem when you just have so many plants you can't fit them under the light or that are tall and the light has dimished. I've seen 50 plant grows under a single 1000W with good yields. There is a lot of possibility you just got to do it right.
