My plants have started to really show an increase in nuggage the past couple days. I was wondering what is a sign that means it is time to start flushing? Would I consider my flowering started when I put them on 12/12 or when they showed their sex? They took 10 days of 12/12 before I saw pistils. Here is a small nuggage update. One more question, do they look more sativa or more indica? The colas spiral around like a stircase.
nice Your looking nice but it appears that you are just getting started. They are gonna get a lot bigger than that pal. Depending on the flower time of your strain it is 12/12 of lights for the 8 or 9 weeks or more depending on the strain you are growing. Towards the end of the flower period you flush watching the trichs with a scope and when flushing period over harvest. they look sativa dom to me. teamster6
I have a 100x microscope, when I use it I do see maybe 10% amber trichomes but depending on where and what plant. I started 12/12 on september 1st and they did not start showing pistils until the 10th or later. They look so stretched out because I was an idiot and took off some fan leaves at the end of veg:roulette: . Should those branches fill in from the bottom nug to the top nug? (the ones that are at the bottom of the plant) That nugg in your avatar is huge teamster6!!! Was that one of yours?

Have you cleaned your lamp, when in bloom I clean my lamp every 3 days. with all of the plants, fertz and water your lamp can lose a great deal of lums. With you using MH you want all the lums you can get.
nuggs Yes that is one of mine I have grown a few decent ones anyways dont get in a hurry if you are growing under 1000w light yours is gonna get plenty big believe me. I use two 1000w teamster6
So you guys are telling me that they will get much bigger then that? I was not expecting such a nice turnout when I planted them. It looks like I should have enough to last me until next summer at least. Is it good to do what I did and start them outside in the natural hot sun to veg a few months then bring them in to veg a little longer under light to allow them to adjust and then flower? Or should they always only be indoor or outdoor(one or the other)? I really would like to do it the same way next time because I dont need lights, air conditioning or a fan for veg just sun and water. Another thing is I used to only water once every 4 days then it went to 3 days and now it is every other day. They are really hungry girls lately. I also never gave them any nutes the whole veg time. I had a mix of lots of bat guano with the soil for nitrogen. I am so happy!! This is my first grow and it went so well, I cant believe I have been paying for pot for so long that sometimes isn't even good. After these plants finish don't think I will pay for pot again. Unless it is super extrordinary stuff. I'm one happy S.O.B!!!!
IMO, yes its a good thing starting them off outside. It makes them hardier for one, a weak plant will have alot harder time to survive outside, which is good you only want the strong ones. The downside of doing that though is the chance of bringing in pests with the plants. They can be dealt with though. Someone posted up an article a week or so ago about keeping a strain alive for 10 or more years, meaning mothers and fathers, and it said to let them grow outdoors for a period of time each year to keep them hardy. BTW awesome plants man! Peace
out to in I agree with virago about the pestes bringing them in. Sure seems like a lotta guys have trouble with gnats and spider mites that have had them exposed outside. I only have tried inside for obvious reasons rip offs, bugs ect and they are hidden. I did not go back to the first of the thread but I think you are lighted on mh. If you are I hope you can change that over to a hps light so the buds will get extra big with the different light spectrum. They look great but they can get alot bigger teamster6
Yeah I did have a gnat problem right after bringing them in and also spidermites. These were pretty easy to deal with though after learning, but at first I had trouble with the damn spidermites. Got it figured out and havent seen any since. I always am looking under every leaf hoping to find those motherfudgers so I can kill them again!!! But no luck. Those nuggets in your pics look hard as a ROCK!!! Those look like they would break a window. Whats the secret? Are you holdin' out on us? I want in!
Way to go poopy....fun typing that...poopy heehee. Toking your own grown is like no other pot you'll find Those plants are going to swell nicely. Your in for a good show. Since you have a sativa dominant I'm thinking 8-12 weeks flower time. Puts you around Nov1-15 cut and mid December for your first cured toke. Not a fan of outdoor moving indoor. If you've been flowering since September 1st they won't get much bigger. I guess if they are sativa dominant they need to flower for longer though, they might have some size to gain.
They do most of their fattening up in the final 3 weeks of flower. I bet they get quite a bit bigger. Now you need to get ahold of some good genetics and grow better smoke than you can find for sale! Peace
Yeah I had fun with that batch. They were clones that had flower nodes all up and down the stems. They flowered from the bottom of the stems clear to the top solid. there is no secret to the buds proper system Lots of light lots of ventilation proper nutes tlc teamster6
I have 12 seeds that a girl gave me of a strain called big bud, she said they would all be female. I started to grow them but got all paranoid with the 2 rooms going and scrapped that project. They started out really nice to its a shame! But, I still have 12 of the big bud and about 6 of the same bagseed in the pics. I don't think I need to have 2 rooms going because this is probably going to be a seasonal thing for me. Has anybody grown Big Bud? I still want to order somthing for next time though. I was thinking a skunk strain.
try this try some sannies killing kush or herijuana if you want some kick ass smoke. The kush is the best tasting shit and the high is out of this world. teamster6
