It won last year as well, and is the first strain to repeat since the Green House's Super Silver Haze in 1999. Vanilla Kush from Barney's placed second in the competition for the top prize. Headband Kush from Green Place finished third. The Green House and Barney's continued to dominate the Cup as the two powerhouses have throughout the decade. Hell yeah I have 2 haze cross's going right now Moby Dick, and Amnesia Lemon the MD has a more indica structure and the Amnesia Lemon sativa structure taken long time to fill in but is going to fucking massive main cola.

Before you go wasting your money.... 1) Everyone who was at the cup said the Lemon Haze tasted like shit, and the high was awful. By all general consensus the Tahoe OGKush from Cali Connection was the best smoke there. 2) There is no such thing as Headband Kush. ROFL. Headband has no kush. It is Chemdawg x (Mass Super Skunk x Sensi NL). No real kush, or cali kush in it. 3) The Purps is indica, not sativa. I have no idea where they get sativa from. BCBD says its the Mendo Purps, which is the shortest fucking indica I ever grew. There is no way it is sativa. (Maybe this is where THSEEDS got the clone for there Da Purps, because it was supposed to be Mendo Purps, but was some straggly sativa crap not worth smoking. No one I talked to, or who posted reports even mentioned Barneys Farm, except for a strain that was smoked in the coffeeshop, not a cup entry. I was also told numerous strains were mislabeled, there was an entry listed as something (cant remember what atm) but was actually the trainwreck. This just proves the HTCC is bought and paid for. There is no point to it anymore. The seed co. with the most $$ invested wins. I highly suggest you guys go read reports on the cup entries from people that were actually there, before you waste your $$$ on any of these strains.
Yeah I haven't tried many of the strains listed, nor would I attend CC or even go to Amsterdam, personally Jamaica is more suited for me:fly::fly::thumbsup::thumbsup:! Yes, I dabble in creating new genetics. Working a few things over right now as a matter of fact. Harborside is cool, a nice place actually. Amsterdam is a great place to visit. The architecture is incredible. Even though the smoke is not the AAA+ quality I am used to, its still worthy of a visit.
Funny I thought it was damn funny that ghs would win the cup!! Especially with all the crap that has been going down at that place and reports from others. Same old Story Pad the extra bucks and buy your win. Increase seed sales which I am sure they will. Weird HT and HTCC is sounding more like politics then a pot contest lol. Hell yeah mad respect useless, maybe someday ill attempt making my own seeds but that would take much more research on the subject. Yeah one of the best clubs imo. I know JKP. Grease up the real judges with free apartments and favors, make the HTCC a lot of money, get an assload of bogus seeds sold to those who don't know any better. I would really like to see the vote tally. But then again, the totals can be adjusted. Maybe Arjan sends a bunch of shills to vote for "his" entries. (Which aren't necessarily grown by anyone from GHS, btw. Last year he bought Shantis bred SSH, grown by Shanti's mate, not GHS seed stock at all! LOL) At least Shanti's wins were before the HTCC was corrupted so horribly. Gotta give credit where it's due. I agree, the HTCC should be spread out over a week, to give the judges more time to compare, properly. Not that it matters anyway.
