Well the newb is coming out I suppose..... If a plant goes hermi and its re-vegged will it always remain a hermi? Since I have no Idea what plant SEEDED my whole fucking crop do i need to destroy them all and just keep the clones And since I do not know what plant went hermi, I dint know what clone is a hermi correct if thats what caused it. Due to shitty record keeping I'm not sure what mother produced what clone. It could have been cause by stress too, too hot, too cold..etc? Shit I should have concentrated on One strain instead of doing 3 at one time. I have clones that are flowering, For all I know they may be contaminated already? Also I have 3 White widows I am sexing, Do i need to pull them out and reveg them to keep them away from the hermi? I still cant find any nanners???????????????? Shit I think I'm going to have to Veg everything and one by one go thru these and see who the fucker is??? Or destroy the whole lot and start over???????
It was only one seed right? I wouldn't go re-starting for one seed but that's just me. I would say focus on finding the possible cause of the hermie. Light leaks? Stress? Try to find and fix the cause... I would let them finish and put fresh clones in as those finish since as long as you have fixed the problem it probably won't happen again. I am not sure how re-vegging your whole crop will help and would take forever using up your grow space. Good luck.
Hell no man ......I thought it was they are not ate up with seeds but ya there is more than a few on nearly all of my crop...........%##&&%^#% LOLOLOL. Well I figured it was time for a twist in the learning curve...... I'm at a loss, Ive reached the limits of my experience. I still cant find any nanners??????? Does it happen once and the nanners fall off?
I don't know if the nanners spew more than once but I wouldn't think so maybe another can answer that. I would say your worry is fixing the cause or having them growing new nanners throughout your grow. Im just wondering what is causing the hermies is it genetics? temps? over-fert/under-fert? light leaks? ph issues? Pinpoint the cause so the problem will at least not get worse. If I know anything about growing it is that you have to record your mistakes and learn from them to improve. Look back at your notes to see if you can find any possible causes. Hope I helped ya a little...assit:
Good questions.....Heat I suspect......then Cold...possibly Light leaks , not probable but possibly---I need to Make sure i can answer No way on that one, been meaning to do a little in that area. Gentics.....possible but not likely IMO , More newbness on my part I would think. Just wondering about have i ruined my gentics, If a re-veged plant i suspect went hermi will it stay hermi etc.... after reveging or its it a waste of time.....the Pheno is picture perfect anyway, hate to loose it. I have floweing clones in there, just started, im worried if they get nailed and going hermi spoils genes then i will have to toss them too I am sexing some ww to......probably need to reveg them while its still early and keep all gals on 24 /7 until whats in the oven is harvested?
Nanners If the Nanners are stress induced and not Genetic you can have a chance to spray them early on with REVERSE AND PENETRATOR from Dutch Masters and this will stop the Nanners but like I said if it is Geneticly inclined to hermie your screwed. I tried this on a gorgeous Female flowered out that was throwing Nanners and it stopped the damn things dead in their tracks. Continued flowering the plant and harvested it. Teamster6
Thanks man, thats just it .......no nanners anywhere, IMO it happened weeks ago???? and the nanner fell off??? Is that even possible? What about the plant that gave me the buds with the seeds, I am re vegging it Is that a waste of time, Or if it was stress Is it possible my genetics are OK and that the plant when re flowered will be fine if i don't stress em again? for all the questions
OK, so, leave it to the deviant mind of Solo!! Is it possible that you, or another, brought pollen into the grow, either intentionally or not? This CAN be a kinda cut-throat game.... :icon_scratch: .02 that must be considered... :fly:
Plants One thing to remember toker if we are talking about Sannies K.O. KUsh f3 strain he just did those I think they were the Sulfer Plazma Grow. They may possibly throw Nanners. Another thing to remember is when your fucking around pollinateing exc if you even get any of that shit on you at all and it doesnt take much you can possibly pollinate the whole grow!!! That is why sometimes they nanner and it may be only a few and you will never see them!! It is almost impossible to see them all they can hide everywhere will have done their job and be gone. As far as the stress possibility causing the nanners and revegging some of the plants your problem is you dont know who is throwing the Nanners it may be your revedge or the others. Sounds like you had light Nanners on your grow or the pollen was induced by contamination or you would have been seeded all to hell. Bright side is if they arnt bad you wont be bothered. Their will be hardly any seeds. As far as what to save I would flower them out and keep a close eye on them. If they start to Nanner try hitting them with Reverse. If you ever try this remember you have to use Penetrator with it also. You may have to start some new genetics and get rid of them. forgot to add I am growing some ko's but they are the f2,s have not so far had any problems. Good Luck Teamster6
Thanks man, Im growing KoKF2 also. So if stressed caused a hermi then even if i reveg it its will always be a hermi? Im inclined to think it was my fault.....I did flower at 3 weeks I did tourture them, It was very hot....then cold, I want to reveg them and see if it happens again but im not sure if its worth it. On the up side the smoke is KILLER......really you WILL LOVE it. So frosty and sticky good luck with yours man....It had to be me some how...Ya i need to quit bitchin......its only a few on 2 plants and hell it was 32 degrees last night Up there, Its amazing they all aren't fucked up, most of the time its around 48 up there with lights off.
Hermie's Haevest THAT SUX I HAD 1 POLLENAT MY WHOLE CROP ... then i flowered 1 strain at a time till i found it ... then this last harvest i was trimming for someone elses out door crop & one of the patches of pit bull went to seed ... well i guss i got some pollen on my hair cause i came home changed clothes (SHOULDA SHOWERED)went in the hot room as id to wor & check on things .. well its just the ones i tied up had seeds on the buds i tied up:roulette: lessons learned P.S. MY DAD TOLD ME SEVERAL TIMES BUT WHO LISTENS DAD WHEN THEY ARE 40 DADS LAUGHING
Hermie is always 100% of the time genetic. If it weren't then some plants wouldn't turn hermie while others don't. Whether it is a stress response or they just hermie no matter that is a different thing. Either way always genetic, because even if something causes them to herm what you are seeing is the response to certain stimulus that is altering the gene expression to cause it to come out. That's not to say you couldn't change something to prevent it from happening. If there is something to be blamed that is causing this you may be able to prevent it but if they encounter the same thing in other generations, if you were to reveg and clone, they would have the same genetic response. So to answer your question, yes once a hermaphrodite always a hermaphrodite. Whether or not it constantly expresses that trait is dependent on the plant itself.
Shit man i was thinking the same thing but was not sure and thought it could have been me but something Really nagged me about His pic scroll down and see if that dont look like a seed pod to you http://www.sanniesshop.com/upload/KO.kush-F1-1.JPG
