    :passit:
My grow room is 4ft x 7ft. enclosed area. Inside i have blower and booster fan to exhaust hot air from reflector and grow room. Outside of grow room i have blower and booster for intake of fresh air into reflector and grow room.
Do i use 4 timers on sequence out/in every five minutes for air exchange
    or
can i use temperature sensored timers (i.e. set at 80 degress, when reached .. blowers, fans run .. cool to 75 degrees, then shut off) on the inside and sequence timers (every five minutes) on the outside for my air exchange?
    Thanks for any help.
    Peace and Love

I would say run them 24/0 unless you are running CO2. The more you exchange your air the cooler temps will be and there will be more CO2 available to your plants. But thats just me. I think most everyone here loves air exchange though. Peace

    Wide the fuck open 24/7.

I run all my fans all the time, but they are on a temp cut off. If it drops below 66* they will turn off.

are you saying run the intake and exhaust fans at the same time 24/7?

still wondering what kind of timers are used: temperature or sequence?

If I were to run anything for a timer it would only be a low temp cut off switch.

    Yes.

Temperature shut down on low trigger only.

I would prefer to have both on all the time if possible, along with the temp cut off switch. Timing them would not necessarily be a bad thing, but as anything else in life, if your doing it you should have a good reason. I like keeping them on 24/7 because the more fresh air the better. I actually only run the exhaust fan on my hps when the lights are on, because I also have a separate exhaust for room air.

i have my fan on a speed dial, and i keep it on no stop. i control temp with a heater/thermostat, that way my fan runs all the time. like the other guys said, constant air turnover.

if you have a controlled fan though, you can dial the speed way down, for less flow.
