Nice to see the forums in good hands

I've been away for so long.. life ya know? Moved on to a lot of things and took a hell of a vacation from GK. hell I haven't made a graphic in so long I don't know if I could lol!

sorry to all who've emailed me in the last year.. I've probably pissed a few off and lost some friends but sometimes in life that shit just happens.

From looking around the graphics are pretty nice here I'm glad for the Carpenter dude steppin up to the plate and anyone else who have chipped in. Making ideas come alive through graphics is something I used to enjoy doing a lot but just ended up walking away from. and with that ends this yawnfest for those who don't care

I would have done it rock but I wanted to make sure you liked it first.. I could find your ol girlfriend/wife I searched all my drives and back up data DVD's.. I lost a bunch of graphics somewhere. some of the ol GK stuff .. some things I still have. like my first avatar.. herb's lightning avatar.. my first attempt at animated gifs.. any many unmentionable things


Hell you guys all made me a legend. I figured I was just a stoned out of his mind bored dude who knew some things about graphics, and yet not enough to be doing it as a profession.


I'll be around here and there... I'm wayyyyyyy rusty on makin avatars tho. might as well leave that to the peeps who are doing a great job right now.

I guess I can still use it since Herb and Sparky are separated. I am a sparky still after all....I'm just not 'Herbsparky' anymore.

 

Damnit! I can't seem to find the file on my computer right now Clay, but how's this? Could ya make a version of that avatar that just shows 'Herb' when it strikes? Like give the lighting a few strikes and on the last one have my name in the background. That sorta thing possible?

 

Ok...found it Clay. Why not just make the lighting shot just say 'Herb' rather than HerbSparky? Is that doable?
