Harvest Day!


Today I finally chopped Ghetto Girl down... Not much there, but with 59 watts total of CFLs, what do you expect. :mashed:


I'll have the final dry weight in a week or so.


Anyway, here are the harvest pictures:

 

Wow AB.. Apart from Virago420's CFL monsters he grew a year or two ago, I think that's the most bud I've seen come off a single plant grown under a CFL.. Especially, what, 59 watts?? Crazy!

Thanks guys! It was actually a lot of fun putting this one together.


So, I'll let these buds dry and give you all the final weight, then after a couple of weeks of curing, I'll give the final smoke report.

Final Weight


So, here is the final number: 8 grams of dried weed.


O.K., so not very much, only .14 grams/watt, but hey... I got weed. LOL


I blame the low yield on the 1 liter pot (1/2 of a 2-liter Pepsi Bottle) that I used. It had a severe case of root-boundedness. Of course it could also be the less-than-optimum "soil" or the cheap nutes, or any number of horrible things that the poor little plant went through. :roffl:


To me it smells like pine needles after you smash them between your fingers. Due to my medical issues, I can't taste of smell things very well so I asked my wife and she said it smells like a dead skunk in a pine forest after a spring rain. I can't smell the skunk part, but I'll take her word for it.


I'll let it jar-cure for a couple of weeks and then give a final report.

8 grams is not bad Alien, on the street its worth well over 100 bucks. So you could pretty much claim that a ghetto grow would be worth the very small investment, cause 8 grams of home grown is better than nothing. If we have a thread of the year vote, this one gets my vote :not-worthy:
