skinny buds

Hello all. My buds arent gettin and thinker. They just seem to keep on streching out. Is there a reason for this? Anything i could do to fatten them up?

Im six weeks into flowering.

 

what kind of light?.....they should start to really plump up the last 2 weeks.

 

I got 1 plant under a 70 watt hps. Its in about 2 and a half gallons of dirt.

 

Hmmmmm i dont know if if 70 is enough (you might want to get a second opinion on 70watts) but it should work, just sit it out for the next 2 weeks and see how she does. just make sure to stop ferting. you're hella anctious (sp?) huh?

 

Three things come to mind that could cause this....light is too far away, heat, or too much nitrogen.

 

Hell yah im anxious! I love this baby!! Its my first grow and im tryin to make every thing go good. The light may be a bit far away. Its about 8-10 inches away.

 

its like that for me for EVERY grow. i love seing them grow.i Know exactly how you feel.N/E ways whats the temp in your grow area?

 

I'm thinking a F2 or less, (outdoor) sativa growing Indoors . with a lack of light & maybe a light leak or might be a timer problem this is a blind guess,but In my early years of growing I had a problem like this ...........DR.EVIL.............
