All super frosty trim and popcorn buds. I'm taking a trip in a while and would like to have some hash, but I never have enough to justify buying bubble bags. I made some before with a mesh screen and pressed it but I wanted to try something different.
You can get a decent set of bags on ebay for around $50 If done right, you should get 1/10 return. By the looks of that trim, there alone you're looking at about 20 gms.
Damn you think so?? I was picturing a tiny pile and didn't think it was worth it. Guess I will finally bite the bullet and snag some.
Get the 3 gal bags if you don't want to spend the $ for the 5 gal. You'll be surprised how much hash you pull out of those bags. Do a double or triple wash for maximum extraction. asssit:
I still have butter from the previous round since thats all I made last time. Qwiso seems tempting, especially since I've never done it, but I really want to make a hash blunt like Useless did. I tried it once before but it didn't burn properly. Think I'm investing in some bags.
I've tried to roll QWISO and Butane extraction into hash papers. No luck with either though the QWISO did a better job. The consistency of the Bubble Hash I've toked seems to be better suited for the task but don't have my own bags so never tried a Mendocino Cigar with it.
making a BHO extractor isn't very difficult. the only expense really is getting the butane. i've had a view successful batches, using a method similar to this: Simple BHO. just be sure to purge it properly.
I'd make one suggestion guys. Unless you're using a tamisium extractor or somehow recapturing the butane don't do the actual extraction indoors like Cali budz does.
i agree with Resin, do it outside. also, i don't like the fact that he's using a plastic bottle. with a little extra effort (or $$) you can design (or buy) a much better BHO extractor. i'm thinking about getting one of these, made by eXtractionexperts.com. again, the tutorial in the link i provided doesn't reflect my opinion of the method used. i wouldn't use a coffee filter and i would pack a hell of a lot more nug in that tube. i recommend using Vector or Lava butane.
