All right.... useless vs lucas MOAB boaster for both same mom due to time constraints, chopped lucas last night and prob will take useless tonight, maybe tomorrow (they look like they can go a little longer, not yellowing or dropping leaves yet) grown under a 400 next to a 600 so I'm not sure what you would call the wattage on that Useless 1 ..... 532 grams wet Useless 2 ..... 587 grams wet!!!!!! Lucas 1 ........ 487 grams wet Lucas 2 ........ 519 grams wet Useless 1 Useless 2 Lucas 1 Lucas 2
for the shitty pix, just noticed that some of the branches aren't even in the picture but you should get the picture. personal observation.. useless out grows in veg by far, but it seemed that lucas packed more weight on the end spec after hitting with MOAB. The biggest bud award is going to go useless, thought the you would be able to see it better (maybe I'll take another pic before chop) of the first picture, bud to the left is actually the main cola, it's just so fucking heavy after removing supports for pics the bitch just fell over and bent the branch. It will be interesting to get the final weights, think lucas had slightly bigger buds, but useless defin had more buds. Anyways I don't wanna hear anything about not chopping on the same day, I work, have a family, and a life so it's not scientific but it works for me. Overall the both seemed to work well with good results, to me either would be a good formula to use. It is weird that the lucas turned yellow and started finishing up (not trich, but over all) faster, maybe someone more fimiliar with NPK can explain that, because I haven't a clue if that's a good thing or bad.
Thanks MM and T6, I kinda anxious about getting the other weights for a final tally, but i don't think its gonig to be that big of a diff if I cut tonight or tom except for maybe a few more amber tric. I'd like to claim this was done under a 400 because i'm thinking i would hit the 1w to 1g ratio but there are in the "shadow" of a 600 so i'm sure the wattage was a lttle higher. Forgot to mention Snow White 6.5 week veg 8 week 6 day flower Height Training was combo of LST, Topping, and BM..... It was nice even canopy until supports were removed I guess the most interesting part to me is the yellowing and dropping of leaves from the Lucas, it seems that the Useless like they could go another 2 weeks. The trics showed slight diff but not enough to warrant discussion (prob 90%cloudy-10%amber lucas... 87.5%-12.5% useless). But I'm thinking if you wanted to go for a full out amber blow out (usually my christmas runs!) I would use useless from the start and flush a week later.
Very nice indeed! :thumbs-up: I'm just guesing here, but I would say that the Useless formular just stores more nutes in the plants so the Lucas uses the nutes quicker and drains the leaves sooner. Yeah, yeah. That's the ticket. And I'm sticking with that.
So I chopped useless 2 last night. She was def the biggest girl in the bunch. 587 weight, thinking/hoping around 4z or more dried. I may wait until tom night to chop use1 because right now i'm about 25% amber, would really like to see 50% but I don't think that's happening in 36 hours (one can hope though, really really hard). I don't think this will change the final wieght more than a gram or two letting go for 4 days longer, but feel free to disagree, but I'm smoking and I want one as close to 50% amber as I can I wish useless 1 will be as heavy as #2 was but I have my doubts. It's got a huge cola on it plus numerous other nice sized ones, but number 2 was tits all around, buds not super huge most about 4-6" but there were a ton of them and all super fucking dense. Not much popcorn on any of them which is good but kinda sux at the same time, was planning on some cookies. I may try and mess around with bloom aids next time, but I like apple to apple compares, so I kinda limited on what I can do. Does anyone use a bloom boaster other than moab and run useless? Ofo, I would agree that either formula will do the job with ease. Thinking useless is going to give me about 10-20% more (have to wait for final plant for true numbers). I should have figured out costs assoc with each formula while I was running for a cost vs return but I could prob get a rough idea by just looking at the formulas. LVS, Yea I'm not sure if it's higher in N and thats the reason or if lucas is lighter in a micro.. but there is a difference. These girls are a nice mix but lean more on the indy side, I wonder if satty would preform the same way in comp?
